The best home incubator for small clutches
This is by far the best incubator I have ever used. My previous incubator was a pain with the water, hard to maintain temps and humidity was all over the place. This coop you put them in and forget until it's hatching day. The temp and humidity hold so well that my eggs actually start hatching before the due day. Last clutch started hatching the day I took them off rotation. I love how easy it is to take the top on and off. Even when I candled, the temp and humidity went right back within minutes. My hatch rate was over 90%. I only had 2 eggs not hatch. One that stopped after the first candling at some point and the other that never pipped. Unreal hatching rate.Cons: humidity at the end is hard to keep below 80. Not when they hatch. That's expected but they recommend you pour an entire bottle of water in at the end for hatching. I've found that if you do, humidity goes above 70 and remains there. It hasn't seemed to affect the hatching rate but I also don't pour an entire bottle in to keep humidity reasonable. 2. This seems to be common with incubators... They are a pain to clean. This one isn't as bad as some. You can't clean the top as much as I would like and the sharp edges underneath the grate mean hard to clean corners. Toothbrushes, toothpicks and cotton swabs work but it's still annoying. Rounded edges would make for much smoother clean out. 3.. There is no battery backup cord. I really wish it had one because power outages are inevitable. Also... Like with any incubator, once the eggs start hatching you're gonna wanna hope they all hatch in a similar time frame. The water underneath gets gross quick. It's unavoidable but if a water removal option were available so that you could change out the water, it would help keep that cleaner. The incubator doesn't smell though so A+. Ventilation is spot on.Pros: I really mean it when I say set and go. The consistency is so incredible that I only candle once to ensure any unfertilized eggs are removed. The turning racks are great. Large enough even for my extra large eggs. You have the option of laying them flat or standing them up. Remember pointed side down for the air bubble and you're good to go. Def holds 30. The grate for hatching is perfect. No flimsy grate that sags in the water.I would recommend this incubator over and over and over and have. If they made a larger one I'd buy it in a heartbeat. I worried over the price. Is it really worth it? Can't I just get a mid tier option? Pay the money. This has already earned itself back and then some. I'm actually considering a second one so that I can run them together. I think it would actually be a better option than some of the larger ones. There's aYT video where a guy compares this incubator to another popular brand. It really sold it for me so if you're still not convinced, look it up.

BUY IT! YOU NEED IT!
I was looking to buy an incubator & was looking at another one & this one. I had settled for the other but when I went to purchase it was sold out. I was desperate so I purchased this one. If I could describe this incubator in 1 word it would be AMAZING! It was sooo good I bought another one! Now I have 2 & I recommend it to EVERYONE I know wanting to hatch eggs. My hatch rate with it has been 95%-100%. I love how easy it is to use & that its not noisey at all! Perfect for beginners or a busy body! The only thing I wish I could change is the amount of eggs it holds hence qhy I had to buy another.

Absolutely Fabulous hobbyist incubator !
I bought one of these incubators after my $400 Brin*** Procom incubator's humidity regulator/sensor kept malfunctioning which is a common problem with ProCom incubators (from what I have read on poultry sites) . I loved the Maticoopx so much that I purchased another right away so I could hatch separate breeds or maybe use one for quail while the other was occupied w/poultry. It is simplicity rite out of the box, had it up and running within fifteen minutes after unboxing and Incubating Brahma eggs as soon as it stabled temp & humidity. First hatch was almost 100 % ! Only improvement I could offer to manufacturer, is for Maticoopx to add handles to lid . Lifting lid is a bit awkward but hey, as good as this little jewel works, I'm not complaining ! Would definitely recommend. READ ALL CLEANUP INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE CLEANING after hatch , you can damage the egg turning motor if you get it wet !

Easy Peasy, Beginner Friendly; Incubating Simplified!
Overall, I'm very impressed and pleased with this incubator. For the money and category I believe it's one of the best if not the best on the market, and I've owned 4 different incubators so far. My trial run was hatching 9 out of 11 of my own hens' eggs last week (the remaining 2 eggs were infertile) which is an excellent hatch rate. Sadly, none of the 6 chicks from shipped silkie eggs that were incubating concurrently survived, which I blame totally on rough handling by the postal service as all had broken or saddled air cells that never settled. I would highly recommend this incubator for anyone in the market for one, especially beginners, as it literally does all the work for you!

Had to buy a second one!
Okay well I now have 2 of these incubators and I absolutely love them! I can fit 30 chicken eggs in it, it'll fit different size eggs. I currently only have chickens. I do love that it has its own candler that's bright but for myself I bought an extra candler so I can have one on the bottom and top to see better for myself. I love that it has a water bottle so I can easily see the water to remember to fill it when it's low. You can't smell anything until after they all hatch and you open the top. Or go to clean it. But that stinks is normal don't get me wrong it's just the gross factor of after hatch. My kiddos love checking on them and love watching the chicks hatch. It's fun for them.*The temp and humidity can fluctuate but that also depends on the factors of the humidity and temperature around the incubator. Also I've gotten good hatch rates with this incubator, but that also depends on the factors of if your roo is fertilizing all the ladies. I always come across a few that haven't been fertilized. But for those that have been fertilized it's 100% hatch of those.*I think the only issues I have with it is that I wish it had a handle on the top to lift off the top that way I'm not holding it open with one hand where it's awkward to hold trying to make sure all the heat doesn't escape so fast trying to get eggs in and out. Cleaning it can be a hassle for some like me there's a few places that are hard to clean with a scrub brush but it probably happens with different incubators though.I hope this helps someone! Have a wonderful day! And happy hatching! XD
