** quick update to my review: I expected to write this update a few weeks ago, when they batteries finally ran out, so I could comment on how long they lasted. Then another week passed without them running out. Then another. AND ANOTHER. I've used this keyboard for well over a month now (closer to 6 weeks, actually) and FINALLY this morning the lights started flashing to let me know it needed a charge. I'm extremely impressed with the life on this! I'm not using it for 8+ hours every day, but I did use it for at least 1-2 hours most days. Absolutely recommend this keyboard, no hesitation.I've been using an older, full-size Apple "Magic Keyboard" for the last 5+ years, which has given me quite a bit of "muscle memory" when it comes to typing. When my old keyboard finally died, I went looking for a replacement that was full sized, wireless, had the apple keyboard layout, and wouldn't cost me an arm and a leg. There's not actually all that many options that check all of those boxes, but I was fortunate enough to find this one.When it arrived, I tried absolutely everything I could think of to get it into pairing mode and just couldn't make it happen. I ended up reading through Macally's website and then calling their support department, and after walking through some troubleshooting with me they determined the bluetooth module was bad. Since I bought it on Amazon they said I could either return it here and order a new one, or process an RMA directly through them. The downside to doing it through them was that it "might take a bit longer to get to you" since they obviously don't have Amazon's logistics infrastructure, but they didn't require me to send it back to them either. I filled out a short RMA form via email, and a few days later my brand new keyboard arrived via UPS. I think it only ended up being one, maybe two days longer wait at most.Now, not only do I have a working keyboard again, they sent me the most recent model (USB-C charging instead of micro-usb) too! Pairing this new one took me all of 10 seconds, and it's been working great ever since.They keyboard doesn't feel "quite" as good as my old Apple keyboard, but the difference is negligible and absolutely not worth paying literally 3x more for. If my old keyboard was a 10, this is a solid 9.5. I'm entirely happy with it.I haven't used it long enough to comment on battery life or longevity yet, but given how easy it was to resolve a problem with them I'm not worried about either.I'd absolutely recommend this for anyone looking to replace a magic keyboard (or to avoid paying 3x the cost to buy one in the first place)!

Works as advertised. Easy setup. Very comfortable feel that is equal if not better than the apple version. Great value!

Love the feel of the keys and backlighting. It feels very comfortable to use. I was surprised about two minor issues. First, there was no little indicator light to tell me that the caps lock was on. It only is an irritant when typing in the opening password. It also takes a moment to warm up, so either I need to pause for about 2 seconds or the first few letters I type will need to be re-keyed. Still really love it.

worst keyboard I ever had! Bought it less than a year ago. Nothing but problems. Hit the space bar. It throws in a period. Try to hit the delete key, accidentally take a zillion screenshots. And then today, as I said, less than a year later, it quit entirely. It has quit a few times and always started up again. This time it is dead I do not mourn it. I will never get another macally product.

So these are my thoughts after my first few hours with this keyboard. You should know that this is my 3rd Macally keyboard in the last 10 years or so... For me, they have lasted about 3 years.Pros:Good looking, easy typingUSB C chargingEasy to set upCons - not really cons, but improvements I would like to see- many of my Bluetooth accessories report charge levels to my Mac (Logi mouse, Beats headset). It would be nice if this did as well...- It's time to go USB C all the way, include a C to C cable, not a C to A cableOverall, great keyboard, great value...

Nice wireless keyboard that works with new MacbookAir, iPad Air. But, shift lock key is never illuminated so you know it on and also no available silicone protective cover from Amazon, Macally or anyone else! Definite negative!

Very good Keyboard for My MacBook. For the price it can’t be beat. I don’t use it all that much so the battery is just fine to me. It paired easily with my MacBook.

I have had a Macally keyboard before and liked it a lot. This model with backlighting and 10-key is truly amazing and the price is right. This is really a great keyboard!
