Very loud. Easy to set or adjust tome and/or alarm times. Several different alarm sounds available with large range of volume including a VERY loud setting. I love this thing. I set mine to the "rooster crowing" alarm sound and set it to the lowest pitch version - at max volume. I think it would be near impossible to sleep through. And I have definitely slept through alarms before. Not this one so far though. I'm deaf in one ear and even if I turn over so my "good ear" is down against the pillow, this is loud enough that I'm confident there is no way I'm not going to wake up.ONE downside - The size of the display is a little small. Big enough when adjusting it - but not really big enough for easy visibility without squinting when looking at it from across the room while in bed.

Works well to wake up a tween. Very loud and the multiple sound choices are a nice touch. The one sound choice icon being a bell (same as the alarm icon on the screen) is confusing and caused us initially to think the alarm was on/set when it was not. Once we figured that out it works perfectly.

This Sharp Big Band Super Loud Alarm Clock - is the real deal. It isn't a normal loud, it is EXTREMELY LOUD! Which is exactly what I wanted and needed! It has different wake up sounds and has I think 1-15 different loud settings, 15 being the loudest. If your anything like myself (I would call myself a very, very, HARD sleeper, anything above "10" will work for me) but I still have it all the way up just so I know ill wake up regardless! It's a blessing and a curse to be able to sleep like I do, but the curse is that normal alarm clocks just don't do it! I even looked into those alarm clocks with a shaker for your pillow.. I can tell you with how loud this is, you don't need anything else but this alarm clock! To give you a little example of how deep of a sleeper I am, when my fiancé and myself were in the hospital after our third child, the fire alarm for the brand new hospital we were in, went off and everyone on our floor ran out of their room thinking if was for real, and this was around 3AM in the winter, there was snow on the ground outside - I was still sleeping on the bed completely unfazed from this gigantic alarm going off through the hospital. Yes I was a bit sleep deprived as well but still, even if I wasn't, I would not have woken up.. So after saying that type of story, and for me to say this works for me should tell you how loud this alarm clock is!!I will say if your sharing a house with roommates, small kids, or a family - you may want to let them hear it so they at least don't awaken frightfully when it goes off lol regardless where this alarm is located in your house, it WILL wake up people throughout the house if you have to have it on the loudest setting. My fiancé can literally wake up to her phone vibrating in the morning. She is a very light sleeper so if she was around in the morning to hear this alarm clock go off it would probably blow her eardrums out (lol being a little dramatic but it is extremely loud when your right next to it) but really this is so loud it will wake some up everyone in the house.In all seriousness this alarm clock does its job for HEAVY SLEEPERS and is a fantastic!! I have loved it since the first morning Ive used it. It has not let me down yet and I HIGHLY recommend this alarm clock to the people that sleep similarly to myself. 5 out of 5 stars for this product! Love it!!

There's no need for any other alarm clock to even exist.I've needed this alarm clock my entire life.It looks good, it's not big, the sound level is insane, this doesn't just wake you up, it makes your heart skip a beat every morning. The other alarm clocks I've bought of Amazon stop working after they fall on the floor once this will not if feels durable.

This alarm clock was great as long as it lasted. We had it for 6 mos and it did everything it says it will do, but then it just died.

Love this alarm clock. Super easy to set up and it very light in weight, not too big but not too small either. I have struggled to find an alarm that works until I found this guy... It works and has even woke up other people in my house LOL. The brightness is great, can easily see the time at night and the time setting was simple. Highly recommend this product to all the heavy sleepers out there!

Best alarm clock I have found to date!! I always said that I needed a siren to wake me up! Well, it works!! Two different alarms out of a choice of 6, I believe. The Rooster, a jackhammer, the siren, Mothers voicing yelling "Get Out of Bed", regular beeping alarm, and trumpet revele. I love it!!!!!

As advertised!!! My girl can sleep through a tornado but not this alarm clock! Damn near wakes up the whole house of the highest volume setting. It has many different sounds you can choose from and volume control!
