In my experience, DC-Fix is by far the best product of its type: thicker and easier to work with than many competitors, with a lovely durable finish and an incredibly competitive price. I won’t buy any other brand unless I have to! This item is no exception, a lovely glossy bright white that is amazing value.A few tips: cut with a few centimetres spare all round if possible. Start in a top corner, peel as you go, and use a squeegee to press out bubbles as you work (a credit card is fine for small projects, but a regular bathroom squeegee is perfect. Don’t bother with the kits). Turning over edges is no problem so long as you work slowly and smooth as you go. Using your nails helps to give a nice sharp edge here. If you have to work around raises edges, make a small cut then gently stretch and smooth. A little overlapping is fine, it won’t show up unless you look very, *very* closely! If you do have any small bubbles, you can pierce it then smooth it down. Some people recommend using a hairdryer but I’ve never found this necessary. You can also use a hairdryer to release the adhesive should you need to remove or re-stick it later.

Looks exactly like the seller pictures. True Magnolia colour. Delighted with it. I used it to cover the glass screen on the wall heater. We only use the glow effect, not the heater so its fine. It was black before and the vinyl is thick enough that it covered the black without it showing through. Very happy with my purchase.

Works fine, easy to apply (if you follow the instructions), but I ordered magnolia and received white, so had to dock a star because the control panel I covered with it is still in my eyeline as I sit here before my magnolia wall.

Used white gloss to cover my windowsill, (hate gloss paint!) Band while it was quite fiddly—mainly due to the irregular shape—it ended up looking fantastic! I found you can unstick and push airbubbles out a couple of times, i sealed the edges with silicone for added durability, so now I just need to wait and see how it holds up over time. Overall, a worthwhile effort for a neat and attractive finish!

Ich liebe diese Folien. Man kann aus alten Dingen echte Designerstücke machen. Ich habe damit eine uralte Küche überzogen. Sehr reißfest und leicht anzubringen.

Folie plakt helaas niet goed ondanks glad en vetvrij ondergrond. Ik had d-c fix eigenlijk beter in herinnering. Door hitte toch nog kunnen toepassen op ondergrond - het lijkt als of die lijm wat hitte als activator nodig heeft.
