Olivia's Little WorldKids Buildable Furnished Wooden Dollhouse for 3.5" Dolls

I purchased this house for my son for Christmas. Since Santa was bringing it, it was not opened and assembled until Christmas Eve, only to discover that the characters were missing from the box. In attempting to notify Amazon that there were missing pieces I was informed that my only option was to return the entire house and exchange for a completely different item (yes, for some reason I could not replace with the same product), or return it for a refund. Having given this to my child for Christmas, neither of these were particularly viable options. This policy is also extremely environmentally unfriendly. Why there is no option to ship the missing character pieces to me is beyond me.Aside from the missing parts, assembly was easy. I like the size of the house, as I was looking for something that wouldn't take up an entire room. The house is a bit less substantial than I would expect for the price point, but due to the size I can see an argument for not having a very heavy house for portability purposes or so that it would not be pulled off a table and hurt a child. I like that furniture was included and my son has enjoyed the furniture provided.

Purchased this for our 4 year old for a Christmas gift. We bought because it came with furniture and dolls. We live on a tiny space and the size is perfect.It arrived quickly of course (prime). But tonight (2 days before Christmas) we took it out to put together and .. just an awful, flimsy product. Not at all worth the cost. Some of the furniture came broken, we glued it. Two of the blue screw heads popped off and needed to be glued along with the walls because the screw heads wouldn't tighten because they broke off and needed to be glued. Such a disappointment! We’re going with it because there is no time to return and purchase something else with tomorrow being Christmas Eve. Such a disappointment.

The media could not be loaded.  I got this for my son and also thinking the screwdriver would be part of the toy. But it was for building the house and it chipped anyways.I feel like it's not very sturdy and it's just missing the charm. A lot of the furniture look alike and it's kind of hard to tell what's what. (Referring to the pets that look like tall chairs) . My son who likes his sister's doll houses hasn't shown much interest in this one anyway. I really thoight this was cute, but after building it, it's kind of lacking.The people are okay though.
