Prodipe06.90049 MIDI USB 4In4Out MIDI Interface 4 16-Channel Inputs/Outputs

This midi unit has a small neat box and performs well. I have a fairly large synth set up and use this midi unit as a midi thru. The timing is very fast. The only thing i dont like is it does not remember the last setting on power off. So i have to press the channel select button at start up each time to get the midi thru mode (start as USB mode). Hence 4 stars not 5. Warning it will not work from a powered usb hub in merge/through mode. it needs a dedicated usb charger/power supply for these modes. Its very versatile. I also have the midi man equivalent which does not support the merge/thru modes.

I wasnt sure when i was buying this as i have a good studio running protools set up with 003 Daw Controller and lots of other midi bits N.I Maschine MK2 Various workstation synths and the timing is bang on which shocked me as after ordering it i wished i had not been a cheap skate and bought the motu or equivalent make but as it happened its perfect i rate this unit its ok looking but more importantly it works well

This midi interface more or less does as expected. It has several modes of operation ie which inputs connect to which outputs or whether they are all controlled via the USB and your computer software, so it is possible it might not be able to do exactly what you want. To be honest I have given only 4 stars simply because I have not yet been able to use it exactly as I wanted but to be fair this seems to be mainly to do with the software I am running on my computer. The software I have tried (two different programs) both recognised the propipe and send and receive signals from its midi connectors.

Not good at all. My unit doesn't output midi clock data on outputs 2 & 4, only 1 & 3.Don't expect to get any tech support for this unit. I tried and failed. When contacted, they refer you to an online form to get a 'ticket' but that doesn't work (SQL errors). I tried 2 different browsers, same problem.When I tried reporting this to them, I got a reply in french referring me to the same useless support form again.It would seem it's worth spending a bit more on an alternative product that actually works as it should.

This was exactly what I wanted and works very well - amazing at the price compared to other units. I'm using it as a standalone midi merge with two channels in and 4 out, no problems whatsoever.

It works but my operating system is to old but one day will try again.

Great kit. makes all your midi connection nightmares disappear. One small box directs all of your devices.

Comme d'habitude livraison rapide merci Amazon, pour ce qui est du produit après plusieurs essais et configuration multiple, le produit ne fonctionne que partiellement, après recherche sur les forums c'est apparemment récurent sur ce produit, après avoir contacter le fabricant qui botte en toucheje suis très mécontent du suivi. L'étoile c'est pour Amazon toujours au top

I can't really review this interface because it didn't do anything at all! I plugged it in and absolutely nothing happened. There's no driver or help documentation, so I had no way to troubleshoot it. I tried toggling the "mode" switch, but to not avail. I ended up just returning this thing. The only reason I didn't give it a 1 is because I don't know if the problem is because of my computer or the interface itself. Either way, very disappointing.

Prodige 44io interface midi/cable midi use noir très bien fais son boulot et très très simple d'utilité regrette seulement un combo Xlr/ Jack mais c'est pas le même prix et suis pas sûr que prodige le fasse,

Clock wird leider gleichzeitig nur auf 1 & 3 ODER 2 & 4 ausgegebenalso auf 1 & 2 kommt clock nur auf 1möchte man die clock auf 3 oder 4 Kanälen ausgeben, kommt man hiermit nicht weiterdazu kommt eine sehr hohe Latenz von 9 - 10 ms (selbst billigste Usb-Midikabel für 9€ kommen auf 6ms, ordentlich Interfaces auf 3ms)genau deswegen werde ich es zurückschicken und mir etwas ordentliches von Motu oder so kaufen
