It’s sturdy, easy to hold, and actually detangles the locs easily!

Did exactly what I needed, made it so much easier!

I bought a comb before this one that was like $4 , yeah I know that was idiotic . But I had my locs for 6 months (Took em out because of inconsistent technicians and was way too tender headed) . When I started using this comb , my fingers (cuticles) stopped hurting immediately . I didn’t even have to use finger caps to finish .I started 4/2/23 @ around 5pm , and I finished 4/8/23 before work (was late because I had to celebrate this victory) .I do not have experience with locs prior to having them . I’m mixed black/white/Jamaican and I took them out because I felt my texture was too troublesome for me to maintain them in my own opinion (no one else’s ) . Not too sure what my hair type is but after combing them out with this comb , my hair texture improved . My curls are moredefined again !I did lose thickness and length in my hair but I know it will grow back in no time .If you need to remove your locs (absolutely nothing wrong with that) I suggest you get this comb . I still have it even though I don’t need it anymore . Made the deed a lot better and I maintained a great amount of hair because I did it myself !! 😉😍First pic is with locs , second is a month ago when I finished .

Took my daughters locs out after having them for 6 years. This comb definitely made the process faster and didn’t take a lot of her hair out. I wish the prongs were a bit pointer. The first 3 on the comb work better than the rest and 2 of them broke. Would recommend for anybody removing locs.

This comb is the most sturdy, well built, perfect tool for creating or taking down dreadlocs. I never knew how inferior my previous comb was until I was recommended to buy this one and the value for the price was out of this world. I’d be willing to bet that this is the best dread comb on the market.

Teeth broke out upon first use. Which is not surprising seeming as how they literally fell out their own slots. I was under the assumption that the metal bristles were a part of the metal base where the ruler is carved into. That is not the case and it seems that each bristle is fastened or glued into their corresponding slots. Its not built to last.

You would be better off using a rat tail comb with the metal end. I thought this would make it easier to comb my locs out but it doesnt, the produc wont separate the hair in your locs. Please dont waste your $10 like I did

This comb definitely does the truck. However, if you're coming out your dreadlocks then you would want to be very patient and be careful especially with the knots in the hair.
