I use this in my kitchen but I know a survival knife when I feel one.It's highcarbon steel so you MUST keep it clean and dry especially after chopping foods like pineapple etc. Wash and dry thoroughly to avoid rust spots and never put in the dishwasher.Speaking of chopping, this knife is brilliant for cutting just about any tough food you come across.The only downside is the handle is on the small size.If you are after a compact budget survival knife then this covers that too. The spine is full tang and thick! Also the handle on the back protrudes to a point which doubles up as a glass breaker. Good weight to it too.The only negative is the sheath, it's poor and the knife being so sharp to the point eventually finds its way out the bottom.

This was purchased as a gift for a family member who goes on camping trips and wildlife stuff. From what they told me the knife is really good for what they do, sharp and reliable. The only thing they didn’t like to much was the sheath, as the blade poked out the tip after some use, apart from that the blade itself is great. (They will be making a new sheath themselves.)

Nice knife, but let down by its handle, which is rather short for western hands. Another inch of wood and it would be perfect. As it is, I will probably have to return it.

This knife is really good, sharp, very very solid construction, I used it for camping, the handle is a little small but it’s so much cheaper than an official camping/survival knife and it’s just as good as any of them, the back has rounded edges so it’s not that good for striking a spark/ferrous rod, but the knife is solid can smash it about use it to split wood etc

This knife, is built magnificent. The quality really shows, heavy duty and built to last. Extremely sharp and comfortable to use. This is definitely built to last and will be my personal top choice. A lot of quality for your money.

That’s what you call a sharp knife and it feels good in your hand. The sheath is poor first time I used knife it went straight through it.

Solid knife but the sheath is awful as the blade sticks out the bottom, found out the hard way when it went through my trousers and sliced my hand, fixed it with some staples.

What a Brilliant little knife and is worth every penny and appears both well crafted ,razor sharp and looks really good .Will be great for both the kitchen and outdoors and I highly recommend this beauty of a knife .
