Despite having long hair, it's extremely fine and I don't have a lot of hair. I was concerned these U Pins would be too heavy and too long, but I was pleasantly surprised.They're actually quite lightweight and a good size in length.Within 15 seconds I can twist my hair on top of my head, in to a messy bun and easily secure the hair pin.It stays in all day, even if I'm doing housework etc, it's extremely secure and looks great.Previously I've been using medium claw clips, but I find them uncomfortable, especially when my head is propped against the car headrest or on the sofa. I also need to re do them constantly through our the day. However these U Pins, with only using one, stays put, very comfortably all day.I try not to use hair bands etc as they damage my fine hair, unlike this U pin which doesn't cause any damage at all.I'm definitely going to purchase these over claw clips without a doubt.Fantastic and pretty too. 😍

Good hair pins, but too short

I bought these metal ones to replace some nice plastic ones that unfortunately snapped too easily. These are solidly made and hold my long hair perfectly in a bun.

My hair is past my hips. 2 of these hold it securely and so much nicer than a hair tie

These are definitely my new favourite thing to use to style my hair, and great value too at just over a pound each!! Really sturdy and keep my hair in place all day and aren’t flimsy like the plastic ones, couldn’t recommend more

Now i know why they sell a pack of 6! 1. You will not want to buy another one once you try it. 2. You probably need to use all 6 to make them hold at least something. It’s metal, they just slip off. The picture is very deceptive - there is no way to use it like on the photo
