This is a fun activity at a reasonable price, however as others have mentioned there isn't enough sand to fill up all the tubes. The funnel is far too small to be used as it instantly blocks. It could be larger, but we placed it in bowls and poured it in over the top instead. Other than that it provided some great entertainment while it lasted!

The sand was damp so had to be dried out to use.

I ordered several things for a party to give kids something to do when they were getting over excited. These worked a treat, however, would probably be more fun to just have a couple of kids doing at home as the funnels are very slow to filter the sand in. Great colours. Good quality sand. Bottles are plastic and you need to make sure you fill them or the sand mixes together if knocked. All in all a fun item. Kids involved at my party were all 7-8 year olds.

I remember loving sand art, so I brought this for my daughters 7th birthday. She enjoyed it but it was a real faff. She couldn’t do it alone, the grains of sand were so chunky that you had to keep tapping and poking to get it through the funnel. It’s more like grit/sea salt than sand. And as other reviewers said not enough sand for the 4 cheap plastic bottles. So they just get shaken up and colours mixed. Disappointed!

This was great value for money my only problem is there are four bottles and the sand provided didn’t fill all four! So my daughter was disappointed that she didn’t get to finish the last one

Good for passing time, never worked out as good as the images, was a bit footery and took ages to get the sand into the bottle using the sieve. Better for older children, but dont expect much. After we played with it novelty wore off and ended up in the bin.
