Q: Speed control of the new products, right?

On the new product there is a tension control dial on the back side of the rear wheels that lets you choose between two tension settings to make it harder or easier to push. In my experience, even on the tighter setting, it still moves a little quickly, especially on a wooden floor.

Q: I'm trying to decide which color V-Tech walker to buy. Which is prettier or more colorful,contrasty to the eyes: blue/red; or orange/green?

I prefer blue red but it did cost a little more as I have seen good sales on the yellow green. I got one of those for $20.

Q: Are the wheels hard plastic? I have hardwood floors and would worry about hard plastic wheels slipping on it.

The wheels have two settings. In one it moves more quickly. In the other it slows down for babies learning to walk. I tried it on my parquet floor. The slower setting would prevent baby from moving to fast on a hardwood floor. The wheels are plastic but they seem to roll not slip and I don't think they would harm a hardwood floor.

Not as advertised

Do not order this product if the item you want is the Sit to Stand Walker. The item I actually received was the First Steps Walker, which does not have lockable wheels.
