All the YES!!
I have a teenaged stepson who has Autism, and is completely nonverbal. I got him this for Christmas, as he’s never taken to any of the speech apps on his tablet. He LOVES this! Although we are still learning to use it for specific needs, the buttons are fun for him- he loves that it makes noise, and everything is said very clearly through the device. Good sturdy quality, functions just as would expect, and super easy/simple! We LOVE it!! :)

Great seller great item
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Bought this for my level three Autistic grandson who wasn’t verbal at the time. He is much better now and still uses this as a toy now but will probably use with the new grand baby to help learn to talk

Not for us, but have heard great things from others. Try it if you are on the fence!
4 Stars because I think it is a great option for some children. It's pretty basic. My son who is verbal, but non communicative just liked pushing all the buttons so we returned it. I have heard from others that have had success with it for their kiddos though so I would say try it if you are on the fence because you never know. It's like a very basic AAC device.

Good for kids
Very good battery life, over a year later and haven’t needed to change it. It’s not too loud or soft and great for communication. It’s very soft as well.

Too complex
I got this hoping it would be a good tool for some of my students, but's it's really not appropriate for an emerging communicator. The messages are way to long like "I'm feeling happy" "I'm feeling hungry" "I'd like to listen to music." When working with emerging communicators, therapists need to focus on concise messages "happy" "eat" "music." I'd consider using this more if the messages were even a bit shorter like "I'm happy" "I want to eat" "I want music". It feels like this was developed without consulting a speech therapist.

Perfect for quick access
The media could not be loaded. Highly recommend this speech device. It’s great for quick access. My son prefers so use this handheld over his bulky everyday device. The volume and quality is great.

Autism
My grandson is non verbal and this device helps him communicate what he wants and needs. It’s a great stater device for children with autism. It took my grandson a little getting use to using the device. It was easy to use with no setup required. Would recommend. Value for the money is great!
