Perfect, exactly what I needed, we have a new TV coming and we use a home cinema set up but the new TV dous not have a 3.5mm jack socket but it dous have a digital audio socket, just be aware that with this cable you will not be able to control the volume with your TV, we use a universal remote that is set to control the volume of the av receiver/Amp instead.

Needed a 3m optical audio cable to run in a wall cavity between my wall mounted TV and cabinet based sound bar. I cannot fault the quality of this cable. It is well engineered and has improved the sound quality of the overall system compared to the original cable. Would highly recommend.

This product works well for the stated use. It is offered at a good price and it's low weight construction (which is excellent) offers less stress to the socket it is offered too - particularly useful if the socket needs to support a large proportion of the weight of the cable. Be aware that if you are an audiophile playing Hi-Def audio files, accurate optical transmission seems to fall off somewhere between 92KHz and 192Khz audio sample rates. 92KHz worked fine, 192KHz did not.
