This is a good value for the price. No clumping.

If you can get over the flavor this is a good product. It is good for you and your health. You can mix it in ice cream yogurt, even mashed potatoes. I would definitely recommend this product.

This turmeric looks and smells very fresh. It has a lovely color. You must ingest it with black pepper to get the wonderful benefits. I have chronic inflammation and arthritis and it helps!!I found this recipe to make a paste that you can add to chicken dishes, yoghurt, smoothies, and golden milk.1/2 cup turmeric powder1 cup water1/3 cup cold pressed Olive or Coconut oil1 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground black pepperPlace turmeric and water in a pan, stir it over light heat until you have a thick paste. This should take about 7 - 10 minutes and you will need to add additional water along the way. Then add the pepper and oil. Stir well, with a whisk, and allow to cool. Store in a glass jar and refrigerate. This will keep for up to four weeks, but best if used within two.I also use a paste of turmeric and water or milk for hair removal. Just mix the water or milk with the turmeric until it is a smooth paste and spread on places you do not want hair. I use it on my chin and upper lip area. It can discolor your skin a bit, but it does come off.I hope this helps!!

I have tried quite a few turmeric powders. It is always a hit or miss when it comes to bulk powders at a lower price.This turmeric powder I find is very good.To open it:This comes in a brown waxed bag. The bag is resealable. There is one pound of turmeric powder.It has the golden yellow/orange color. The color is vibrant.I can smell the turmeric scent as I open it.To try it out:One of my favorite things is adding it to my scrambled eggs. I mixed about 1/4 teaspoon to 1 whole egg and 1 egg white.Making this, I can tell how strong of a flavor the turmeric has. I can taste the turmeric in the eggs. It is a stronger turmeric. More than just coloring food, this adds flavor to food. It has a good earthy flavor.5 stars:This is a very good turmeric. One that I will replace what I have had for awhile. I can easily cook with this and also make lattes with.

We all know how beneficial turmeric powder is to one's over-all health. It is almost a holy grail among the organic medicines. It is always my go-to product when my blood pressure is high or I wanted to lower my cholesterol level. So, this 1 lb. bag of turmeric powder for just 12.99$ is such a good deal. It makes 64 servings. It is manufactured in the US with US and imported products. The best thing about this product is it is NON-GMO, gluten free and no artificial colors and preservatives. Totally recommending it!

My February 2023 order of ‘Nature's Lab Turmeric Root Powder - 1lb Bag’ arrived well sealed in a reusable zip-lock pouch with a Best By date of January 2026. The suggested serving size is 1 tbsp, which results in 64 servings per pouch. The powder is described as a dietary supplement which can be added to “coffee, smoothies, baking, soup”. The only ingredient listed is “Turmeric Root Powder (Curcuma longa)”. I could not find any country of origin on the packaging, but a Las Vegas, Nevada address is listed for the Nature’s Lab company.I added this product to various meals, including ramen, soup, and cooked vegetables. In all cases, I found the turmeric root powder added an unpleasant bitterness to my meal. I cannot imagine adding it to coffee or a smoothie. I have used turmeric from a spice bottle in the past and had no issues with that taste, so perhaps this brand of turmeric is just not for me or 1 tbsp is too large of a serving for me and the dish I was adding it to.

I ingest turmeric daily as part of my morning health tonic, and I frequently using it during cooking too, so ordering this massive, 1-pound bag of it seemed like a no-brainer. I wish that it were organic, as it not being so makes me apprehensive about using it. Regardless, the turmeric powder looks, smells, and tastes great (if you’re into turmeric). If you’re not into the flavor of turmeric, then you should just try to get used to it over time (like I did), as it’s too good for you to overlook.The paper packaging is lovely, but I’m disappointed that the inside which makes contact with the turmeric powder is plastic, as I try to avoid plastic contact with things I ingest or apply to my skin. The bag is well-labeled, including a lovely photo of the product, and all of the visual design details look great in general. The bag closes nicely with a ziplock type seal.Overall, this is nice turmeric that could stand to be a little “cleaner.”
