The media could not be loaded. ** UPDATE **After re-reading several negative reviews on this product, I find it hard to believe that anyone could hate this? Most all the negative complaints seem to be self-inflicted issues.#1. Hummingbird attachment - This attachment clips to the front of the feeder in place of the standard bird perch. Yes it is a little bit of a struggle to get off. That being said... it is SECURE. Meaning it isn't going to fall off when multiple birds are landing on it. Install the bird feeder in a position where you can comfortably reach the attachment to take it on and off for cleaning. Why in the world would anyone install a hummingbird feeder way up high then complain when they get rained on with nectar when they try to get the attachment off? That is poor installation not manufacturer issues. Install it smart and these problems won't occur! I have zero problems with maintaining my feeder. I am 5' 5" and have it installed about shoulder height. I have plenty of birds and hummers that visit every day. No need to install it way up high on a pole! If you want a "sky-high" view for whatever reason, don't use the hummer attachment!#2. This is NOT difficult to maintain. The feeder is mounted on a bracket. It twists back and forth so you can position the camera in a number of directions. Disconnect the solar panel if you have it, twist and slide it off the bracket and viola! Your feeder is now portable and can be cleaned out as needed. Again, if you choose to install the feeder in a difficult manner or in a diffult reach, then that is a self-inflicted issue. Netvue has included NUMEROUS installation techniques for installing the feeder. Pick one that is USER-FRIENDLY for YOU and install in that manner. If you choose to make things difficult on yourself, that is your fault not NETVUE.#3. Customer Service - I'm not sure how people are contacting customer service but I have found that their customer service very friendly and helpful! If you join the "Netvue Birdfy Community" group on Facebook, they even respond in there and allow you to post your photos and videos, ask questions, and even make suggestions to them on how to improve their product. I get replies within 24 hours in that group along with the help of other Birdfy owners. This company can't make it any easier! They even include two apps that you can use. Netvue and Netvue Next that is in beta with new features being added for capturing photos, videos, saving, and sharing.*** I guess if you aren't tech savvy then it may be a bit awkward to learn at first but if you aren't tech savvy, you shouldn't be buying a tech item and complaining about it. You need to be able to understand how technology works in order to use this item to its fullest potential. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this item and can't wait to get a few of the other items they offer like the birdhouse and the new hummingbird feeder that has dual cameras! I have also suggested that the do a camera bat house!*********************************************I have so many videos and photos to upload but Amazon will only let me upload one for some reason. This purchase is so much fun! I get hummingbirds and house finches so far. I need to change the food out to get the cardinals and the bluebirds to interact with the feeder. Almost want to get a second one so I can put different food in each one!You get up to 20 second videos, notifications when motion is detected right to your phone! Each video can have a number of photos also attached to it so you can see the bird identification. It isn't always perfect but has been pretty spot on!You also have the option to watch the camera in live mode! I love this feature as it doubles as a security camera and it will also let me see when the deer come in so I can set up to manually record right from my bird cam! It is the perfect addition to my trail cameras I have throughout the backyard!This is so much fun! Well worth the entertainment value! We even watch the camera at work when we take "birdie breaks" and gather around my phone for the latest videos! I get hundreds a day!I absolutely love this! No regrets and I can't wait to try some of the other Netvue products!

Mother days gift for my mom, she is handicap and can not watch her birds as much, loves being able to now

Great camera for bird watching! Bought mine in Dec 2023. In March 2024 it quit working and I discovered the antenna was broken. I emailed Netvue support to see if it was fixable and it is not. So they sent me a whole new camera / bird feeder FREE! And when I had trouble paring it with my iPhone customer support gave me tips to solve that issue. And just fyi, the camera quality is amazing! BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!

What a pain this experience has been. First, this thing is quite large and not one bird has visited after 20 hours and we have lots of birds around here. Second, I am getting motion notices every 5 minutes?? (Wind or a leaf is moving) and the only way to shut off these types of notifications is to buy a subscription?? Third, when setting up the camera yesterday I attempted to get a subscription to the AI feature and a little pop up notice came and said "sorry, the AI feature doesn't work with this phone" I have an I phone 15. You would have to take a photo of the bird visitor and upload it to see what kind of bird it was.

Wonderful feeder. Highly recommend.

4 Stars as it is not Squirrel proof or racoon proof. But it is still fun to watch the birds and other animals use the feeding area. Easy to set up, and works great on the phone

Received my Birdfy Pro almost a week ago, charged it, and set it up immediately. It was very easy to put together with good instructions. I had a regular birdfeeder before and enjoyed the occasional bird coming by, but WOW!!! Birdfy recorded so many birds that I had no idea we had! The Northern Cardinal comes in the morning, afternoon, and around dusk. The Black Capped Chickadees flitter on so quickly I never even knew they were stopping to feed! I have a male and female Cowbird couple as well (who knew!). Then came the Starlings and the Grackle... and the Squirrels... (the Birdfy app is excellent at identifying the birds)The included Squirrel Baffle is too small to be much good, but it was a nice "freebie" to get started. I'll buy a better one later. I haven't tried the accessory feeders yet, as I already have a Suet Feeder, but I am going to try the Fruit Feeder ("Fork") soon. I always have old fruit around.This is easy to use and view on my phone and can double as a security cam! It is fairly heavy though, and I will likely need a new feeder pole to mount it on. The pole mounting brackets were simple to use, but I have a lightweight pole, and the weight of the feeder makes it lean a bit. It will be worth it to invest in a better pole. I also did not add the solar panel yet; waiting until I get a sturdier pole. The battery on the Birdfy seems to keep a charge pretty well.The Birdfy app is easy to download and connect, and I was even able to share my feed with my mother across the country. That did take some figuring out, but not too bad. I absolutely love that the Birdfy also shows you stills from the videos, so I don't have to try to frame capture a still shot. The videos and stills are so simple to save to my phone and then upload to Facebook (or share directly to FB).I am very happy with the Birdfy Pro and think the squirrels need their own so they will leave food for the birds! I think it would be hilarious to get video of the squirrels eating. The Birdfy Pro IS a bit pricey, but I think it is worth it for the known brand -- Netvue -- and for the Birdfy app.

I bought this as a gift for my dad because he loves birdwatching. He loves it!
