Works very well. Speed is also quite good. My mac was not detecting external HDDs using USB hubs. So, this type C did the job. Tried transferring over 200 GB of data and haven't faced any issues so far on day one.

The cables are unreliable. The fit is a bit loose as well. The drive keeps disconnecting and data transfer is uneven. Would not buy these cable again.
