Nutley's 6 Pack Wide Mouth Glass Jars with Red Gingham Lids - 324ml (10oz)

These came well packaged and protected. They are sturdy enough and have good fitting lids. I like the fact there isn’t the annoying neck/ collar that you get on most shop bought jam jars, that prevents you easily getting the last bit of jam. Have worked well on two batches of jam so far.

I bought these Jars originally to fit some 80mm surplus Jam Jar Lids I had mistakenly ordered. And they are exactly what I wanted! Nutley's always has what I need. Delivery was super fast. These Preserve Jars are durable and don't break too easily. I've never had a problem with the lid Seal (once its Water-Bathed) Also, not much spillage due to the wider rim. I will definitely order more when needed.

As my wife pointed out, it would have been cheaper to buy 6 jars of Jam from the Supermarket, and spoon the jam into the bin!However, the jars arrived quickly, were very well packaged, were spotlessly clean, the lids fitted well.So I was very happy with my purchase.

Dearer way of sourcing jars than buying cheap preserves and chucking the contents away, but they should last years; sturdy glass can be sterilised repeatedly & boilimg preserves poured in safely if pre- heated. Wide opening particularly good for coarse- cut marmalade which is scary stuff when hot. Super- easy to clean.
