Awesome Films
What a bargain! Two incredible and innovative films of which the like you will probably never see again. I love the original though I never understood it as a child. The fact, like the original Star Wars Trilogy, that you can actually see how people were approaching the technical problems delivered by the scripts. Th actual physical animation in the original and the early attempts at face mapping in the sequel. The story will go down as one of the greats. Add some Daft punk and some glorious scenery in the second and this is a twin pack that takes pride of place....and yes, I am old enough to still 'buy' these things and not stream them.

I liked it a lot
I've seen Tron: Legacy before, I liked it a lot. Even though acting sometimes is a bit off putting and the story doesn't offer much depth to it, I enjoyed the overall experience. It's a good film that people choose to ignore for some reason. The original though, that's new for me. Usually I don't like old films, because they feel so outdated (obviously there are some exceptions), this film is an exception too. Even though CG is obviously old and very 80s, I still managed to enjoy the film. The story is better, but also confusing. I feel that without watching Tron Legacy first, It would have been very hard to understand what's going on, because the whole idea is not used very often, and so it feels fresh and hard to follow sometimes. The combination of the two is amazing. I highly recommend this Blu-Ray release.

Tron...a.masterpiece(blu ray)
ive always been a fan of tron.from the orignal in 1982 to the updated follow up in 2010.so was great news that a double blu ray would be released including both films.Tronstraight off tron the original looks magnificent.for a near 30 year old film you aint going to see it any better.ok granted the effects look dated, but that adds to the whole feel of the film. Disney have done a real good job at cleaning it up.the sound is pretty good to presented in dts,and utilises all speakers.extras.Are in abundance, including a commentary, the tron phenomenon, photo tronology, making of etc.subtitles.english,french,italian,german,spanish,swedish,norwegian,danish,finnish,portugese and dutch.languages.english,french,spanish and italian.Tron legacywell this is probably the best quality blu ray i posses!the picture quality is sublime and the dts is just a pure "daft punk" thunderous soundtrack.sounds submerge you in the action.your neighbours will love you with this on full blast.there is a variation in screen size, like the one on batman the dark knight.this is due to the film being shot partly in IMax.extras.some good extras, making of etc but no commentary track but a daft punk derezzed music video in 5.1 sound makes up for this.subtitles are the same as tron the original(see above)languages.english and spanish.also includes an audio description.all in all a great double bill.the story may not be up there with the best but lets be honest these are meant to be pure escapist eye candy, and both tron movies are visually stunning, and worth repeat viewing.a stunning double set that should be on any sci fi/daft punk fans list.5 stars.

Tron/Tron Legacy blu ray
Tron is one of those early 80s movies that has gained a large cult following, due to its ground breaking effects and relatively simple story. I first saw Tron around 83/84 I think on video (showing my age there) , in a double bill with First Blood.Tron has been available on various formats since the videodisc, video, laserdisc & DVD and now blu ray.Stating that this probably the best it has ever looked would be doing it a disservice.Jeff Bridges, Bruce Boxleitner, David Warner (always a good villain), star, Tron looks Awesome. The extras are superb as well with more added for the blu ray release.Tron Legacy is the belated sequel -Jeff Bridges returning to his role, and a newer digital look to the movie-i actually quite like Tron Legacy, but it does have the problem of being a "sequel", that said the presentation is superb and Daft Punk soundtrack also very good.

This film is better than i expected !
I thought this film was really good, much better than some reviewers would like to lead you to believe. The Tron films create an alternative digital universe, a believable dimension that immerses the viewer within that world. These films both capture the qualities that make this attainable, also the action scenes are really well crafted and thought about, unlike certain other block-buster type movies. This is precisely why i believe these films work, they totally create the illusion of entering new worlds & new realms, if a film achieves this goal then it should be applauded for it's achievements, not frowned upon because the plot is not as tight as a drum. I thought the story for Legacy was not bad.We do not watch these films for brilliantly executed story and plot frameworks, this is not War & Peace or Crime & Punishment, but Tron.If i had to rate both films, i would give them both an 8/10, basically if you enjoyed the first film, then you should enjoy this one.Let us praise new sci-fi films that take us to places that we could only dream of visiting.

Must see for any SiFi fan
Love these films, I could go on for hours about why they are so great and why they are so important to the history of film, the way the 1st was so far ahead of its time and why didn't they make the 3rd movie.
