Great for Baking!
I like to bring cupcakes and other baked goods to different places and use this "sanding sugar" as a plain topping for cupcakes, and some cookies. The granules are coarse enough that they will NOT melt into the batter and stay crunchy. This year, I made an apple pie with a lattice top. In years past, I would simply use table sugar sprinkled on the top lattice, but it was never enough of a difference. This year, I used the sanding sugar and it added that extra little "punch" of a crunch to the top crust. This is a must-have for bakers.

Good on cinnamon toast!
I bought this sugar to make my own cinnamon and sugar blend. I love the texture of the bigger crystals on my cinnamon toast. I found by making my own blend, it was a better value than the bottle you buy that you can't refill. I purchased a pepper grinder on Amazon as well and made my own. Less waste as well. I felt the sugar was pricey, but it is what I needed and I like it.

Perfect for Krakelingen‘s!
My Dad absolutely loves a certain brand of Dutch cookies and often orders cases from Holland. I decided to try and make them for his birthday to ship to him. The sugar was perfect! I needed a really coarse sugar to coat the top and bottom of the cookies and this sugar did not disappoint. The sugar didn’t burn very quickly either and if it did, it was my fault. Will definitely order more in the future! The cookies came out very delicious 😋 He loves them!

Although not what I'd categorize as "confectioners sugar" like the description states, this is large crystals suitable for muffin tops or other baking treats . . . worked great!

Exactly as expected
This coarse sugar was exactly what I expected and needed for sprinkling in top of scones and pies for a little extra touch. Doesn’t melt, and stays nicely nestled on top.
