Take That, Dad!
I don't know what it is, but I like using spatulas like this when I make scrambled eggs. They're more flexible than the flat plastic ones that you might use for flipping a hamburger. I've been doing this since I was a kid without any problems. I recently moved in with my dad because he got divorced and needed help b/c of financial reasons. He's a type-A, anal-retentive guy with a big heart, but everything has to be in its place and everything has to be done his way or he thinks you're doing it wrong. He started hiding spatulas from me because he was afraid they'd get too hot and bend. (As an aside, he hoards tupperware and utensils on the off chance that he might need them some day, but don't you dare call him a hoarder because he isn't one. (C:)Does it matter that the spatulas I've used have never melted before? Heck no! Does it matter that I'm 35 years old with an adequate level of both intelligence and street smarts? Heck no!To make a long story short (is that even possible?), I bought these so I didn't have to go on a treasure hunt for a spatula when I want scrambled eggs. I love that there are four of them and they're all sturdy. I've been washing them by hand because it's easier, but I've also run them through the dishwasher without any issues. The bright colors are fun and they help me make delicious breakfast each and every time. I would buy these again, but I think the set I have now is going to last for a long time.TLDR: My dad/roommate is a grumpy old man and I had to buy my own spatulas to make scrambled eggs. They work well.

(Does not)Serve purpose, not very well made.
Update 032821:I noticed my bright green one was looking black inside. I inspected the others, same thing. At the place where the very thin silicone blade naturally bends, there is a crack which has let water inside and has rusted the metal stick in the handle. All these, in the trash. I will not risk contamination of my cooking or illness of anyone. Unbelievable.Amazon: make it mandatory for sellers to reveal where things are made and shipped from. I want to buy USA. This is BS. Update, about a week later: I took one more star and I am changing my review to basically: useless. They might be OK for something thin like cake batter or cleaning the soup out of the can, but they are so thin and flimsy that they couldn’t even spread room temperature butter over bread without ripping the bread, and could not scrape the cookie dough off of a spoon when I was making basic plain old chocolate chip cookies. Too thin, too flimsy for basic baking/cooking. What did I expect from “made in China.”Of course, manufacturers aren’t required to state where they’re located or where the product is coming from, which makes it that much more difficult to buy USA.Pull your head out Amazon, I don’t care if your owner is a billionaire, and can live on his own island. I am a regular person and I want to support my own country.******OriginalFor what they are, they serve the purpose, sort of. Barely. I would never buy anything but utensils that are one piece; anything where the blade slides onto the handle is a cesspool of bacteria, rust, rotten food waiting to happen. They are, in comparison to other mini spatulas I’ve purchased, very cheaply made. The blade, or flat part, has very little substance. It is so thin you can see light through it. Naturally, that will be the first part to be damaged and make the whole useless for its purpose. Chipped, cracked dishes, ratty or damaged utensils are excellent hiding places for bacteria. So, once damaged, in the trash it goes. The colors were “random,” I suppose. I’m not a fan of fufu colors and thankfully there was only one pink one.Overall, they might work for some things but I don’t expect they will last long. I won’t send them back but I won’t buy them again.

Updated for 2021: Perfect size for me; exactly what I wanted
UPDATED:I've now had these for 3 years, and am back for more! Unfortunately they come in colors I don't want, so I only keep a few at a time and discard the rest. I'm back for more because while I have plenty of other spatulas, these are the ones I always reach for, and I'm tired of them being in the dishwasher and unavailable. As another reviewer has said, I find these to be just right for making scrambled eggs. The tips have *not* broken off and unlike my other silicone spatulas, they also have not developed cracks or cuts around the edges -- they're still in like-new condition. I'm just really glad these are still being made because these are durable and the perfect spatula for me.ORIGINAL REVIEW:Because I use these to make raw meat cat food, I start to get wary of the bacteria that may lurk in the cracks or grooves that develop in silicone spatulas. I wanted a smaller spatula, and a lot of them. I bought 10 of these, and couldn't be happier with them. They seem very sturdy. I think the weak point of these will be the pointy tip, as it flexes easily. Eventually that will likely break off, but so would the tip on any other spatula, silicone or otherwise.Besides the raw meat cat food I use them for, the smaller size of these allows me to scrape out a liquid measuring cup and other smaller vessels. I think these have a useful place in any kitchen. My only regret is that I wish they'd offer these in all one color, because I really would have preferred 10 green ones.

Great for soap/lotion makers
I bought these for making soap and bath products. They are smaller than my kitchen spatulas, but they are the perfect size for scraping ingredients from a measuring cup or stirring in a small container. They have been sturdy so far, and I feel like I'm probably tougher on them than someone buying them for regular kitchen use. They've made it through a couple batches of liquid soap paste without breaking. I've mixed lye water with them with no problems. I love that they came in a set of five so I don't have to stop to wash a spatula every single time I need one. Will definitely look for these again when I need them.

These are very stiff. They are not very pliable/flexible.
