Its good that they are safe to use near food preparation or storage areas as they are chemical & pesticide free. Also safe to use anywhere that u have kids or pets, although dont use if u have any pets that are rodents like hamsters. The sound isnt audible for humans but u can tell that they are working as they glow with a blue light.

I do have enclosed poison traps outside of the property but the these products are the only things that seem to work to deter them from coming into the house. I have all 4 strategically placed throughout my house & since having them in, I have had no noise or apparent activity so so far so good!They look nice & give a nice blue glow. There is a very faint slight click noise to them every now & then but once there’s any noise in the house you cannot hear it.

When I bought these I was a bit skeptical whether they actually work. They do work. I live in a rural location opposite stables and surrounded by fields with sheep etc. We got alot of flies, I'd had enough of using those ugly fly strips so thought I'd give these ago, so glad I did. Within 2/3 days of plugging them in I now only get a couple of flies here and there and I'm sure these sneak through my bathroom window lol 😆.These are definitely worth buying.

Anyway, they arrive, I plug them in in the garage, one near the garage door, one near the back, and watch the little light warm up and come on (must be a super capacitor in there), then the first ultrasonic pulse. You can definitely hear it, and if you have pets, probably don't use them in the house. Doesn't bother me so much though as I'm happy that they're doing their job.And on that note, the first couple of days, I noticed a lot more spiders. The kingdom must have received reinforcements (or they've just come out from hiding wondering what all the noise was). After that however, aside from two spiders at the back who are the true silent generation type who will not be uprooted (aside from heading inside a vacuum at a high velocity). I've noticed no new spiders in there since.So, I'm not sure how they work, but they do seem to be working. They're also not overheating. I had one before this house that got really really hot. These are cool to the touch and I feel much better about leaving them in the garage running.

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I ordered these, but I love them! They are small little things that don’t take up a lot of space and are easy to use. They arrived quickly and packed safely!I’ve had them for a a couple of weeks now and they work great! They even seem to work on gnats!! Love it and will order again
