This comes with a solid base, which makes it all the easier to assemble. The mini blocks are the same size to many mini block kits such as the ones sold in national parks. There are spares of all the piece types in case you drop one and cannot find it. It is a complicated item to assemble, but for me it makes it all the better. Definitely not for young children.

At first there were missing pieces. I emailed them and the missing pieces were here in about 3 weeks. That was on stage 5 that the pieces were missing. But after that it went together fairly well. Some parts are very small so I used tweezers. Not for the people who can't concentrate very well or keep there mind on a task very long

It has smaller bricks compared to the LEGO brand, which is an exercise in patience for me. There are bricks left over at the end of the assembly, so you don't have to worry about missing bricks. This set has helped me understand more about Chinese architecture, which I think is great!

building up the base and the cabin was pretty fun. however, the pieces are VERY tiny, which i did not accurately anticipate. also lots of extra pieces. the kit also came with this set of LED lights but there were no instructions as to where they go or how to install them, which i don't know how to do. i had to use super glue for the trees because they fall apart so easily and really frustrated me, i suggest you do the same if you get this kit. it is cute but definitely not a super casual build and for someone who wants more of a challenge or to work on it over time

Horrible!! Instruction ridiculous & missing pieces

The quality of bricks are very nice, but be warned they’re SO TINY. Definitely need tweezers for some parts. It took me two days to complete, and some of the instructions are a little confusing. If you misplace a block, good luck trying to get it off. Also, the trees? Don’t even attempt to build them. They’re so flimsy and literally made me want to scream. I didn’t even build the two big trees. I agree with the guy that said you might need an engineering degree. Came out pretty though!
