Out of 4, even pricier options, this was the best
I only use this for work to keep research subjects from moving their hands/ fingers around during a brief 20 minute task. I ordered 4 different ones, as we need 4- including one of the most expensive options. This one was most comfortable, washable and easy to put on.

Stroke Victim
Not as happy with this hand splint. It does not hold the hand/fingers well. Reverted to the old hand splint. Thanks anyway

Comfortable and Convenient Arm Brace for Stroke Recovery
I chose this brace for someone who experienced a severe stroke and lost the use of one of their right arm. I decided to try it on myself to evaluate its fit, comfort, and ease of application. Everything went smoothly, and I am planning to use it on the individual who has developed clubbing as a result of their stroke, in the hopes that it will alleviate some pain and reduce the clubbing.I have several different braces, but this one stands out as the easiest to put on. This is a significant advantage, as the others often cause unbearable pain during application. The padded straps are a thoughtful addition, offering extra comfort. The fabric used in the brace is gentle on sensitive skin which is particularly important for elderly individuals. Another feature I appreciate is the zippered access, allowing me to remove and wash the fabric easily, ensuring it stays clean and fresh.I've also included pictures of the brace on my arm for reference. I ordered a small size, and my palm width is 3 inches with a length of 7.5 inches. So far, I'm satisfied with the brace's performance and I'll provide an update if the person recovering from the stroke doesn't find it as helpful as I have.I hope you find my review informative, and most importantly, I genuinely hope this brace provides relief to you or your loved one. 💖

Supportive and functional splint
I wholeheartedly liked this splint as I was having a condition that produces pain in my right fingers and wrist. I wake every morning with the fingers clinched and lots of finger pain. This comes with a soft finger separator to keep my fingers in correct position and prevent them from overlapping in my sleep. The splint comes with three straps to wrap around the hand. I was able to wrap it myself comfortably where the fingers are resting on a soft padding.I was able to have a nice sleep without worrying about my fingers and wake up fresh with no pain. I use it during the day as well while resting or watching TV. The straps are easy to wrap around and the product comes with an instruction card on how to do it. It is a life saver and definitely recommend it to people with wrist and muscle pain, sprained knuckles, CTS. I plan on using it every day and night on my right hand for my recovery. Great functionality and good product!!! Thanks for the design.

Not what I was hoping for.
I asked for a referral from a former occupational therapist regarding a brace for sleeping. I kept this one but purchased a different one that did what I was hoping for. This one is very comfortable but held my and in a semi clenched position. The one I’m actually found to work keeps my fingers extended as due to the stroke the tendons in that hand are shrinking and I really need that hand to be functional so I can support myself with that hand for using my walker and doing any number of things that require my hand to flex open and closed.

Really helpful for those who get contractures in the hand
I've been looking for something like this for years, and stumbled upon it here. This is really helpful for gently holding the hand and arm in a neutral position, and it seems that it could help to control the hand when contractures occur, or when the hand muscles simply are not functioning as they should. It is well padded and comfortable, with a terry-cloth feel. And, the cover unzips to remove the plastic inner stay for washing. I haven't had much time to use this yet, and haven't been able to see the effect during severely disfunctional moments, but it feels like it will be of great benefit. I will update this if I'm mistaken in any way!The only tweak I could think of immediately that could improve this is a wider strap to hold the fingers down. But I can add that, I think, if needed.

Missing pieces
The thumb strap is completely missing and the finger separator is not right, there is only one piece to separate all 4 fingers. I bought two of these braces, cleft and right for issues with my hands/wrists. They work as they should, or would,if everything was there.I do expect the company to send what is needed, replace or refund my money. Without the right pieces, they can't be properly used.

Good Splint But Doesn't Work For The Wife's Hand
While this is a very nice splint, it will not work on my wife's hand due to the tightness of her fingers and the inflexibility of the splint to accommodate her condition.
