Having use the punch a hole, hold the fiddly bits down, try not to hit your fingers method, I finally searched for and bought this tool. What. A. Revelation. So easy to use since the magnetic heads hold the pieces in place and it punches the hole through at the same time.Leaves a perfect eyelet securely holding the canvas.A really sturdy tool with a solid feel yet comfortable hand grips and only needing light pressure to use.Recommended all round.

Owned this for a week now. I've used it to put eyelets in tea towels, golf towels and garden furniture covers. Very easy and quick to use. Magnetic ends hold the eyelet pieces in place prior to crimping and it cleanly cuts out the hole when you crimp. Under 10 seconds to do one eyelet. Has worked well with different thickness and types of materials. Can't offer any comment on the longevity of the eyelets at this stage.

My only gripe is that the instructions in the set are for a different eyelet tool entirely, luckily I know how to use the one provided so I can just bin the instruction booklet.

Ordered wrong size but good quality item

I love this piece of kit. I have arthritis and was able to use it with ease. I always make a small cut in the cloth first, then enter the main gromit, I put the other on the magnetic piece and it works a treat. Highly recommended.

generally fine it works BUT the heads of pliers do not line up correctly which results in an eccentric/uneven compression with approx 50 % of diameter of eye not being properly crimped to form eyelet - it gets squashed flat.Tried it with no material plus various types result is the same

Did the job for replacing shower curtain eyelets, simple to use

Good strong sturdy item. However, when I came to use it for the first time proper both the grips became loose which was a little disappointing. I’ve applied some adhesive to see if this rectifies the problem.

Je viens de poser une quarantaine d'oeillets dans de la bâche de 720mg/m². Le résultat est parfait.Par contre, faîtes attention à la partie inférieure de l'oeillet. Elle est si fine que vous pourriez en placer deux... Le truc, je les fais tomber sur la table pour les séparer.
