Great product…great value.
This unit was a really helpful purchase. I backed into a sign last summer and my car ended up in the shop for 3-4 months in a neverending saga. Needless to say, I have a little PTSD about backing up now. This stereo’s backup camera gives me peace of mind when I’m backing up now (and I was a guy that said he’d never depend on a camera to help him back up). The hardest thing about installation was just figuring out how to string the camera wire out of the way (I did this in conjuction with replacing my headliner). Otherwise, it was a dream to install and is easy to use. Even running the camera line into the brake light wasn’t that difficult. The display and touch screen are sometimes a little sticky to get to respond, but overall it’s been really good. I wish there were more apps that could be added to the homescreen, but it does exactly what I want it to do. I even end up taking it with me when driving my wife’s van that has a built-in blutooth just because I like being able to see where I’m going on the Waze app. I bought a second stereo for my old pickup so that I could stream music easily. It’s a great upgrade.

Waited to review for quality, lives up to the hype!
I wanted to wait to write a review until I used this for a while, and after using it for around 6 months, I can say it lives up to the reviews! I haven’t had any issues with it connecting to my car when I get into the car, the display quality, touch screen, size, and really anything else. I have a Subaru, so I knew I wasn’t going to pay 100 dollars a year for Starlink when I can have a little screen that I pay 30 dollars for one time that does the same thing. The only thing over time that might happen, if you live where there are rough roads, is the screw becomes loose (causing the screen to fall) but it is easily tightened back up. This just happened to me though since buying it in November, so it shouldn’t happen often.I did NOT use the backup camera, since my car already has one.

It's so helpful!
It's a nifty gadget! It makes it easier to look at Google maps while driving. I'm directionally challenged y'all, so I glance at the map every chance I get. I highly recommend it if if you have an older car without a screen already built in :)

Awesome product for older car owners
IT WORKS GREAT I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! No lag. I have a 2002 ford ranger so i used the FM transmitter use so yeah sometimes the radio takes over my music but i still love it it works 90% of the time. Easy to use. Touch screen is cool. Yes i use the cigarette lighter to connect the screen. I haven’t put the backup camera but I will soon.

11 year old CR-V is now modern.
The media could not be loaded. For the price it's really hard to complain about anything. There are a few drawbacks but there's a lot of good as well. The packaging was superb. Tightly packed bubble bar wrapped. Could drop the box from 10 ft and I'm confident it wouldn't break. Size is subjective to your needs. This is for my Mom's 2014 Honda Cr-V and there isn't much real estate around the dash so purposely chose a small screen. I decided to put it in front of the cheesy OEM infotainment screen but off to the right so she could see the both the OEM an Carplay. The sticker mount (which I chose to use) feels substantial, I've never like using anything with a windshield suction cups...ever, I never even entertained the thought of using it.Once turned on I was pretty impressed on how fast the connectivity was. My 2024 Hybrid CRV OEM Carplay is slower to boot up. I'm kinda pissed about that. However one thing it lacks is picture / pixel quality - not the greatest in a 4K world, this is maybe 1K. I can almost see the pixels, but hey I'm not watching Bladerunner 2049. If I had to choose between faster start up vs a slight downgrade in picture quality I'll pick speed every time. Some may wonder if this makes some annoying music or noise or chime at boot up, NO it does NOT, thank the lord! I have a 9" Carplay aftermarket in my car and it has a very LOUD chime at start up which wants me to throw it out the window, FR.There are display settings for Brightness, Contrast, Hue, etc, but keeping them all at factory settings in the middle seems to be best. Playing around with it just made the picture worse. This is not the brightest display but can easily see night and day but can easily have glare at the wrong angles or if you don't have rear tinted windows. One important thing, if you look at it dead on straight the picture looks horribly washed out like looking at a TV at an extreme angle BUT if you place it where it's tilted slight up the picture clears up immensely. Kind of goes against what you're use to, a little odd. Fortunately I'm fine with it being tilted slightly.Probably my biggest grip is the fact both the power jack and AUX is on the drivers side which is an eye sore and the wires are in the way (I do plan on trying to hide the wires later). The power cord has an angled 90 deg jack so it doesn't protrude but the AUX cord does. Why did they do this? Price point I guess, so I remedied it by purchasing a 90 deg AUX jack on Amazon for $5, now it's all flush. Anyway you will HAVE TO to do the same especially since the provided AUX cord is a ridiculous 3 ft in length. It barely reaches the cars AUX port and my Mom's car is tiny. Her car has crappy speakers so can't say how good the sound is but any AUX option is way better than bluetooth to FM transmission.I didn't notice any lag while using the touch screen which is fantastic. Almost on par with todays standards, I'm sure it's even better than half the OEM carplays out there. Remember you can customize which APP you want in the first main APP menu on screen so you don't need to swipe to next page to find the APP you're looking for and group your most used APPs in one page, Bluetooth connect will show "IVT", use that. For the price, it's great - 4 out of 5 just because it not perfect, but what is, but what is perfect is for new drivers that drive beater cars, older commute cars, or you just love your old car and with this you may never sell it. For my mom not to stick her phone on a magnet thru the air vent to navigate Google maps and falls with every pothole is another good reason.
