The uncomfortable shoes I've worn for mountainbiking because of how sporty they are. These feel like race day shoes, something you only use on race day. Imagine going to work daily in an F1 car where its low, cramped and stiff suspension, it is not comfortable. My feet would cramp if I dont take a break every 15 minutes. Putting them on takes time because of the addition of an inner lace. The buckle that holds the velcro straps closest to the crankset is too close to the crank arms and would rub occasionally. Comfort and ease of use I think was not a factor when they designed these shoes.

Great for mtb

Fit was spot on. Not too narrow not wide. Holds heel nicely without blistering even on big hike-a-bikes. Holding up great after 3 months. Only wish the adjustment strap was 1/2 in longer. So it covers up all the velcro. But that's not a deal breaker.
