Very easy to install and adds to the security of our doors, looks like it will work on most door gaps with minor adjustments, you can use a chisel for a slicker look and imbed into the frame, in my opinion this effects the holding power of the latch, overall a very good product and will keep children from accidentally going out the door

We had two scares with our 3 year old unlocking, opening and running out the door so we decided to try these for all three of our doors. I feel so much safer knowing my kid can’t run out the door in a matter of seconds. I also love the extra security just in case someone ever tries to break in. I was worried about the damage to the door frame since we rent our house but once we installed them, it’s super easy to do so with minimal damage. There’s no wear on the doors or frame from opening and closing. If anything, there will be a few small holes on the inside of the door frame when we remove the lock but it’s hardly noticeable. This is definitely worth the purchase. I don’t know how we functioned without the prior. Buy it, install it, and have a peace of mind of when it comes to the safety of your children.

Simply a great product and safety latch

We got this because my 5 year old is autistic, and figured out the deadbolt and the door knob cover recently, and he's eloped before. So we needed to find something that causes minimal damage, and will keep him in. This works amazing! Only 4 small screw holes in the door frame, and it's super sturdy. And your able to put it up high enough that we should be good for quite awhile. I definitely recommend if you have a kiddo like mine that you need to keep safe!

Very easy to install, take about 5 minutes.

Got this and installed right away, it's not been a couple months of use and have some cons. The first being the screws not being long enough, they don't feel as secure. After constant use the lock feels a little looser when in "lock" position. So longevity doesn't seem like it will be too good.
