A set of 2 multipurpose glass containers complete with plastic click on lids.I chose these primarily for fridge storage but also to have the option to heat foods in the microwave when needed.So far other than handy fridge storage I've used them in the microwave (minus lid) to cook frozen jacket potatoes and also single portion meals, no issues. In my experience, the glass while warm did not become too hot to hold. Hand washed them after use.The product page info is however confusing, specifically details about when, and when not to use the lids.On one of the images the wording says microwave and freezer safe (Lids NOT included), this infers you cannot use the glass with the lid in the microwave or the freezer; however the 'about this item' info says you can use in the microwave with the lid ON and the vent open. So, which is it?The listings info contradicts itself.The quality glass containers seem strong, look smart and are easy to hold. The plastic lids are secured by 4 snap clips. I did find the clips occasionally clicked back open.The well made glass containers do seem ideal for food storage and heating single portions of savoury or sweet dishes, however the lack of absolute clarity over the important lid usage is I feel a negative, particularly if you need or want containers that are fully microwaveable and freezer safe, with their lids.

Leakproof glass food storage arrived securely packed and in perfect condition.I received 2 food containers. They’re great for taking lunch to work, storing leftovers or meal preparation. The glass is thick and sturdy. The lids fit well, are well made and they can go on the microwave with the valve open. So far, I’ve never experienced any leakage from these containers.The capacity is great for what I need. These are dishwasher proof. They much more versatile than the fully plastic one. Highly recommended.

These are not our first glass containers and sure enough won't be our last!As mentioned in title above, we are trying to move from all plastic to glass containers not only because of rapid usage and all plastic containers being discarded much quicker, but also for health reasons how much microplastic we consume unknowingly.Yes, these container's lids are still plastic, but that's okay as you don't have any food on the lids, merely just for cover.Washing them is easy, both lid and container went through dishwasher and bo issues, despite mentioned that lid apparently isn't dishwasher safe. All tightens well, leak-proof!No smell in the containers unlike plastic versions!Also, nothing got chipped, damaged or scratched, and packed really well on delivery!I recommend this item, both of them!

These glass food containers came very well packaged. It also included a sponge! The bottom container which is glass is well made, heavy and looks as if it will last for years if handled correctly. The top lid which is plastic, doesn't bend so it fits well on the container and has side clips so it clip locks. No spillages. These clips are easy to do up and undo even with person with arthritic hands. There is a vent on the lid which I guess is to let steam escape if hot food is placed in the container before sealing it to transport. There are no markings/symbols on the container to state if it is microwave, freezer or dishwasher proof. Otherwise a very good product even as a gift.

These two containers came very well packaged to avoid breakages.The plastic lids have vents in to enable microwave reheating.The light green seal gives a nice look to the whole container.The lid fastens by four catches around the edge which are a moulded part of the plastic lid. These in my experience frequently snap off over time, which would then affect the ability of this container to be sealed properly.They are completely leakproof from what I found, when I tested them with water, and the glass of the container feels strong and sturdy. The lids feel a little bit more fragile than I would like.At £12.99 for two 640ml tubs at time of review, these are pretty pricy and this may affect your purchasing decision. (The cheap washing up sponge is an odd addition as you don’t need a specialised cleaner for an item such as this).

These are brilliant-really solid glass dishes with plastic clip on lids with ventilation holes. Both the dishes and lids can go in the fridge or freezer, but only the glass dishes are dishwasher and microwave safe. I think it’s a shame the lids aren’t able to go into the dishwasher, but that’s the only negative really. They are not huge (640ml each), but a nice size for packed lunches or storing leftovers in the fridge overnight. The package also comes with a cleaning sponge which I was impressed with. At the time of review the price for this set is £14.99 which I think is reasonable given the high quality of these items. Highly recommended.

These are really great for storing food. The glass containers are a decent size for portioning up food for the week and you can reheat food in them. Very sturdy and look well made.

These food storage boxes are perfect for taking in lunches at work. The lid has a vapour valve that I thought would be handy for microwaving soups but I have since re-read the listing and seen that the lid is not microwaveable. This being said, the food storage glass (excluding the plastic lid) is freezable, microwaveable and dishwasher-able. The food storage boxes are just the right size to for a portion eg fruit salad, Shepard’s pie for re heat but not big enough for a sandwich.
