Item I reviewed: Sliding mats for KitchenAidI'm really happy with this Oudizz sliding mat for my Kitchenaid stand mixer! What a name though.. ooooudddiizzz.Like many of us, I have limited counter space in my kitchen, moving my heavy mixer around was always a hassle and yet I always seem to want to shift it left or right.. But this mat has been great! Not only does it slide with ease, it's well-designed, it feels like it has a durable construction. Handy two silicone spatulas always appreciated.Simply, it helps you move it around, but it doesn't move when using the mixer. Really nifty, the sort of thing I like receiving from F&F as gifts, practical little thing you never think of buying for yourself (but really should).Recommended for anyone looking to simplify their baking routine/ reclaim their kitchen counters a bit more! I have limited counter space in my tiny kitchen so whenever I need to use my Kitchenaid stand mixer, I have to pull it out from under the upper cupboards and drag it to a different part of the worktop. It's heavy and difficult to move about.The Oudizz sliding mat is absolutely brilliant. I comes with some cute baking accessories and has a soft sliding side and a rubber side that prevents the appliance from moving about and falling.Please note my KA stand mixer is 5QT/4.8L and the mat I got is for a slightly larger size: 5.5-6QT but I like that it's a little larger than the base of my stand mixer.The quality is really good particularly at the current price. It is so easy to slide the stand mixer around. No more struggling and lifting the appliance. Recommended.

The mat is easy to slide across the kitchen counter while the rubberised part keeps my mixer securely in its place. The wire tidy is great, I attached it easily to the back and now the cable isn't hanging loose. The only thing I would say, is that the wire tidy was gray rather than the black shown in the picture. Good value for money though!

The Mat hold my appliance to the counter well. I really like that fact that cord management holders were also included. Very Pleased.

The 'Oudizz Kitchen Appliance Sliding Mats for KitchenAid Stand Mixer and 2 Silicone Spatulas' arrived in a plain box.The mat sits nicely under the stand mixer, and may also act as a vibration dampener depending on what your surface is made of. As there are no instructions provided, it may not be intuitive to all, but the silky side is against the kitchen surface, with tab to the front.We have a tiled kitchen surface, so pulling the mat by the tab brings the mixer forward with ease, no having to physically lift it. To put the mixer back where it came from I found pushing low on the mixer worked best. This mat makes it far easier to move the mixer than by walking it or lifting, especially as users arms are often stretched to do so.The two spatulas provided are just for icing on the cake, pun intended.A slightly longer tab would have made it a bit easier to get a hold of.

I only have a small kitchen with limited worktop space, but I do have an “alcove” for storage, but when the appliances are pushed right back, it is awkward to retrieve them without potentially damaging my worksurface. I have tried plastic sliders, but these have tended to slide off! I have even tried a small wheeled trolley, but I have ended up “walking” the appliance, which is not ideal.I was therefore delighted to see this sliding mat. It arrives in a plain box and three really handy silicone utensils are included. It feels rather similar to a mousepad.It has not completely solved the problem, as it doesn’t glide quite as easily as I would have liked, but it’s the best solution I have used so far.

I have had this for a while now, but did not leave a review. At first I was not impressed. My mixer still grabbed the counter. Well, that was my mistake. There is a definite right and wrong side to this mat. Once I figured it out, the mixer glides without any effort at all. I highly recommend this mat.

Pulling my mixer out from under the cupboard was very annoying. It wouldn’t move smoothly so I would have to pick it up and I’m getting too old for that nonsense. Now, it moves smoothly and effortlessly. Highly recommend this to anyone struggling with moving their mixer or anyone who has a mixer for that matter. It’s fantastic.
