Cooks meats to perfection!
I have used this grill for well over 2 years and had helped me cook my meats in a healthy and lean way. I like the function that you can set the rarity of how you like your meats with the heat level ensuring food is cooked at the correct temperature whether it is a steak or burger etc. I have even used this grill to cook cheese toasties as well as paninis and always tastes amazing. The plates are of flawless quality and it is incredibly easy to pop them off and use in the dishwasher and fits nicely in most household cupboards due to its compact size. I would highly recommend buying this over a George Foreman grill or any other leading competitors for that matter.

A grilling help marvel
A cooking marvel…had to replace a 10 year old Cuisinart and tried their latest replacement model that turned out to be a disaster after testing two that fused our lights as soon as they were turned on! Great customer service but let down by the product. The Tefal on the other hand is brilliant. Highly adaptable from toast to steak and everything in between. Very well engineered product.

Excellent contact grill
Fantastic upgrade after killing 3 famous boxer branded ones in 2 years. This one is a bit more complex but removable plates, solid, programmable it's like comparing my Skoda with a Bentley, they do similar things but very differently.I could buy 2 (or 3 if they are on offer) of the others for the same money but this is fantastic and very easy to keep clean.Plus when the coating eventually wears I can buy new plates. One of my new favourite things, so much so we named it Steve.

A bit of a "Marmite" appliance this.
I love my Instant Pot. It will be rescued in that imaginary house fire along with the pets (and my better half, naturally). As to this appliance, the jury is still out for me at least.I really put it through it paces a few nights ago when we had friends over for curry night. With multiple dishes on the go, I was hoping I would just heat the grill, put the marinaded chicken tikka on it, wash rinse and repeat. The eight skewers required doing this in two batches, so I planned this for 30 minutes before my guests arrived. That was my first mistake, the different grill settings seem to take a different time to come up to temperature, or maybe it was just my impatience. It was a good 15-20 minutes before the first batch was on.The next batch was the real issue, surely I wouldn't need to wait another 15 minutes for it to reheat? I was so busy with other things moving between kitchen and dining room, I couldn't tell if the "Ready" beep had gone off and the indicator light was purple. Was that "I'm too hot and cooling down down to blue" or was it "I'm carrying on heating up and now heading towards red" ? Without watching over it, it was difficult to tell, so I resorted to turning it off and starting again. This is where the gradient system falls down, as it is not perfectly clear what temperature the grill is at if it is heating or cooling. Also, cooking individual chicken pieces (i.e. cubes rather than whole breasts) left the chicken on the dry side. The other downside is that it squashes some food items. The chicken tikka was definitely squished, as were my oval suasages (premium ones, not cheap either). The char marks and indentations are good though. As for bacon, frozen burgers and chicken fillets, it works really well. Sadly, there was no custom setting for toasted sandwiches but I'm sure I'll figure that out by trial and error. So a mixed bag really, I haven't had the chance to try steaks on it yet but if they turn out as well as the burgers, it will be a worthwhile purchase.I picked mine up at a discount, so from a value for money perspective I'm reasonably happy with it. If I paid full price for it though, I'd be disappointed, especially as there is no dedicated toasted sandwich setting. The "Innovative" multi-colour indicator is both a boon and a pain, as it is just not intuitive. With the lack of a sandwich setting (which is available on the even more expensive models), I suspect much of this is form over function. In reality, you only need the "Part cooked" functionality for steak and bacon, and maybe fish. The rest of it seems gimmick.

Perfect grill
The media could not be loaded. This is the best grill I used so far. It's big enough to make more food than 2 people. The options it have are amazing, together with the thickness sensor. The steaks are superb, also fish, sandwiches and everything else. It's well designed so you don't have to really hide it. Temperature control and great levels are great. Using mine for so long but it looks like new, so sturdy. I totally recommend.
