We have a now 16 week golden retriever puppy and are going through the house training stage at the moment. We had to delay his vaccinations as he was a bit poorly at first so he wasn't allowed outside until recently. As you can imagine we then needed a lot of puppy pads whilst he was stuck indoors. We tried most brands on the market ranging from pets at home, home bargains, Wilko's and b&m but we decided to try these. We opted for the large size as with the energetic little fluff bundle we have we were using 4 standard size ones until he perfected his aim. These would always scatter the moment the zoomies hit or sometimes the moment he walked on them! The large ones are about the size of 2 standard size pads if you have had those before. The absorption rate was very quick and best of all we had no soggy mat leaking out underneath onto our laminate flooring! The mats are grey in colour which personally I prefer as I hate seeing the yellow pee spots on the mats! The mats also were wonderful for absorbing any scent from the pee. Can't say we noticed any at all. Overall we are thrilled with these and have to agree with the other reviews that they are the best we have tried so far. Love the fact they come compact in a box and Amazon have also gone to the effort of decorating the box with little bones etc which we thought was cute little touch.

Really good size puppy pads and great quality!Like that they are grey, don’t look as unsightly as white ones!I use these as my elderly Italian greyhound needs to go through the night and it saves any accidents! They also come in handy in bad weather as my two iggys sometimes refuse to go outside in bad weather!They absorb really well and the size means they are less likely to miss which in turn saves my wood floor!Have been using these ones a while and they are always my go to for quality and value.

'My doggy Dukey; unfortunately has diabetes and as a consequence; he sometimes wees in the house.I've tried other similar products; but NONE has come close to being as good as this pad.I'm sure the carbon makes this product stand out from the rest - and what a good price for this addition for absorbency and size!If you 'catch' the soiled pad before it has time to seep through (they ALL seep through eventually) that's great. . but a downside is; urine WILL seep through like all the rest eventually; hence 4 stars . .The carbon gives you a little extra time before seepage.I would assume for a large puppy this would be superb.It's a short term solution that works.

The larger size is more suitable than the smaller sizes. Leaves room for misjudgementsThey also seem to neutralise odours. Good absorbency.

These work quite and does seem to affect the smell I little bit. I don't think they're worth the extra cost as the smell is only reduced a small amount but I guess if cost is not a factor then these are better than any other pad I've tried.I have noticed with other pads you can see when there is pee on them, there is a stain. These do not show any mark so you don't know if your pet has peed or not. This may be a good thing or a bad thing but worth mentioning I guess. Cost is its biggest negative, but they are good pads

These are huge compared to regular mats, they're carbon so absorb odour and they never leak.A regular buy especially if on offer
