I got this mainly for my laptop while traveling as it uses different combinations of discreet and integrated graphics based on what port I'm using, so sometimes while traveling I might want to use the USB C video output instead of the actual HDMI port. So far this works great for that and the bonus is I can hook my phone up to monitors too to look at photos from a day out on vacation.

I got this cable to use for when I travel, so I can watch my own content from my phone (S24U) or tablet (Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra) on the hotel/airbnb TVs, and this does the job great. I've also used it to connect my tablet to a projector at work. I've not come across any 8k display devices, but I can confirm that Dolby Vision works on it to provide an accurate image on 4k. This requires HDMI 2.1 specifications to work, and it does. Also want to add that the HDMI "block" does heat up quite a bit when in use for a while, I have not seen this affect performance, but it is possible.

I've used it for hooking up cellphones to TVs, projectors, and monitors and it works just as described...for the most part. I have no clue of what transfer speeds I am getting and if it can even do 4k or 8k but it does the 1080 just fine and I really havent noticed too much heat coming from it. I've noticed some but not a lot. Maybe people using it on their steam deck or something with higher demands might notice more. I use it to hook up my phone to a larger screen and connect a controller via bluetooth and then i can play my mobile games just a little easier lol. Only 2 down sides i can see so far is that the quality has a little room for improvement, its not bad but could improve; and it doesnt charge my phone while in use so that is sort of a bummer. If it could charge and transfer video at the same time, that would be amazing! then upgrade the quality of materials used and you got yourself a 5 star cord!.

This is a very nice and high quality USB-C to HDMI 2.1 cable I can confirm that it does indeed support 48Gbps data speeds and has worked with any device that I have tried it with which includes an iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPad Pro, and a Razer Blade laptop. I would recommend this cable to anyone in the market for a USB-C to HDMI cable.

I bought this cable so that I can connect my iPhone to a screen for demonstrations and to watch movies when I'm at a hotel. The cable seems to be standard quality, connections are secure and solid. When it works, picture and audio quality is really good. It has generally worked well with TVs.However, with two specific computer monitors, the cable failed to pass the audio along. we could see the video but no audio came from the built-in speakers in the monitor. Disconnecting/reconnecting, resetting the devices, or trying other apps (youtube, netflix, etc.) did not help. I have a second similar cable, and that works with both monitors without an issue. So, there could be a compatibility problem with certain setups or specs. I have not been able to test it with more devices to see if it is a more widespread problem or not.

Boreguse USB C to HDMI 2.1 Cable is great for connecting your USB-c tablets and phones to an external display. It can be used for laptops with a Thunderbolt port too. The build quality is quite good and it works. Note that this will occupy one USB-c port so if you have one port only and use that for charging too, this is not the best option.

I use this cord to connect my laptop to my second monitor. The video quality is very crisp. I can't say what speed it is as I am not very tech savvy :)The 2 meter lenght comes in handy as well.

Quick and easy connection from Surface Go and Phone to HDMI without the need for failure points and docking hubs, etc. Works really well for Samsung Dex as well.
