Good material, good preset of size that will allow you to work from convenient starting point. You will need some specific tools to make it work right though but that is perfectly normal. I recommend a dremel, metal measuring rules and levels to keep your work in good balance and precise.

Its good cut bone, no large holes or any thing like that and completely square. Used them for dulcimer nuts. 👍🇺🇸 Just cut to size and cut your grooves. Sands and files like butter but still hard enough to produce great tones.

You get exactly what you ordered

Got these to repair a kids guitar after the original strings broke and these parts fell off to only become lost. Now that I have new strings to put on I had to replace these as well. I couldn't find a smaller set but these work for what I need since I can trim them to the right size and add the grooves to match the strings. The ability to customize these to the toddler guitar was what drew me to this item. It is nice to have the second set as well as a backup for all our guitars since it can be customized to any of them as needed.
