Majority of Ingredients Third Party Lab Tested
I got this because I take and like all of these ingredients in this for helping my body to produce adequate amounts of energy for all of it's daily needs. As we get older our levels of NAD drop according to many studies as well as our ability to make energy like we did in our younger days. While NAD is thought to be key in the Krebs Cycle (aka citric acid cycle) in the mitochondrial matrix there are other important ingredients as well IMO when you look at how they pertain with how the mitochondria uses them in this energy producing process. And this brand IMO did a fabulous job of including the ones ( ingredients) that are key to helping NAD and even to some extent possibly protecting it like with the apigenin for possible CD38 enzyme reduction. As far as the NAD precursor goes this brand is using the Niagen copyright form of Nicotinamide Riboside Chloride which is made from the salt of Nicotinamide Riboside. This crystal form is supposedly very pure and this purity is thought to help this precursor convert to NAD more easily. There are limited studies comparing it to the other NAD precursors and I think the results are extremely impressive albeit as stated there are not too many studies that I personally have been able to come across.I personally try to keep my NAD levels more than adequate as it is an important/required molecule in the process of energy making in the mitochondria. And when we think of energy we think of running and lifting etc. But it's much more than that when we consider even our thinking requires energy. As well as metabolism, breathing, circulation, immunity, cognitive function and well everything our bodies do. This is why when our energy levels fall for extended amounts of time our health can possibly become lessened. Our body just may not have the ability/energy to do what it needs to do to stay healthy. As far as what to expect, I definitely could see where if one is deficient in any of these ingredients there might be a possible energy increase noticed. Especially if you are older and have been deficient for quite some time with these ingredient(s) and/or have low NAD levels. I think for many of us it might be possible to notice that our body may optimize its energy production and utilization for peak performance. I personally did not notice anything as I have been taking these ingredients in some form for decades. And If I were to give some to my (adult) son I doubt he would notice as he, at his age is at his peak as far a health goes but it could help IMO for his weightlifting and what not.As far as the price goes I could personally buy these ingredients minus the Niagen for less than what it sells for. But when I add the Niagen made Nicotinamide Riboside Chloride,, I am easily at this price if not more. And most importantly I will be hard pressed to find the expensive ingredients in this legitimately third party lab tested. And that IMO is a huge difference worth the money. In the past I have bought NAD precursors that were not cheap by any means to only learn later when they were tested they were found to have zero of the stated ingredients in them. It's actually happened to me twice and I don't even want to think about all the times I'm not aware of. I did learn my lesson though and I only buy now third party lab tested brands that were done by a company not affiliated with the seller of the raw ingredients. And done in the USA, UK or Canada or a country with regulated oversight with their lab testing. And if you look at these test results they are impressive indeed IMO. I have in the past dismissed lab testing on blends as it would be too expensive to test most of the ingredients. But this brand did it and it's one of the reasons why I think the pros really like ProChoice products. And every single ingredient tested came in on this test as stated 'dosage wise' and most of them actually more. Excellent product and Top Quality IMO. Its this kind of supplement that provides me confidence I may improve my health with it. I had no bad sides from these and they were easy to take. Hope this was Helpful.

Bad Supplement
This made me nauseous, and that is highly unusual for me. I don't know why, but I tried for 2 weeks and figured out this was the culprit.

Is three really better than one?
Because NMN is off the market (it's banned from being sold as a dietary supplement since it's under clinical investigation as a new drug), currently the best way to increase NAD+ is with NR. NR is a precursor of NAD+ and much better absorbed than NAD+. What's especially great here is that the form of NR they're using is Niagen, which is the only form of NR to have been safety-reviewed by the FDA, and which has been shown to increase NAD+ in a few human trials. Basically, Niagen is the good stuff! So 500mg is a nice intermediate dose of NR/Niagen. Additionally, this includes a variety of other molecules known to stabilize or support formation of NAD+. Importantly, the majority of these ingredients seem to have been third party evaluated, which is a "must" if you're going to be paying this much! Posting the certificate of analysis on the product page inspires alot of confidence, and the doses all line up. The pills are average supplement size and have no taste (they have kind of a mild vitamin C smell to me). They came double sealed and with about 1.5 yrs of expiration. They do give me energy. The only sticking point, then, is the high cost. I've taken other Niagen at significantly less $, so really the extra expense lies in the other molecules they've included to help increase the amount of NAD+ (they call it "Triple Boost" because the supplement works to boost NAD+ through at least three different ways: 1) NR 2) Tryptophan and 3) Apigenin). Without going into tons of detail -- Apigenin blocks the breakdown of NAD+ and Tryptophan promotes NAD+ formation through a separate pathway -- the science behind each of these is good, so the theory is definitely there. However, I can't tell from the company website if this claim has ever been research-tested with this exact formulation, i.e., does having all these in the same pill truly increase NAD+ more than 500 mg Niagen alone? We have to hope the synergy is real and decide if it's worth paying the extra money to get additional ways to boost NAD+ without knowing whether it's the case. But ProHealth is a great company and ultimately the product they've put together is a fantastic one in theory (patent pending), and maybe not even horribly priced for what it is, so it really depends on whether it's affordable on an on-going basis. I'm undecided for myself because the extra cost is significant. That's the only reason for the 4 stars.
