It is a great solution for a broken one. Fits really well, looked great, easy to install, great price and I'm going to get one for my other bathroom even though that one is not broken. The only draw back (and it's a minor thing) is that it leaves a small puddle after draining the water out. Hubby is happy he won't have to take the sink apart to fix it like he had to with the old one.

I like that it catches hair but it also catches little debris and gets clogged easy and slows the drain down

It fit well, but with screen on sink took long time to drain. When brushing teeth sink almost filled up. When does drain goes so slow soap doesn't get pulled in, leaves soapy residue in sink. Tried removing screen, drained a little faster but now it will not stay down in place. The whole unit pops up. Don't know if gasket wore out already from pulling unit out to take screen off but looks like I will be looking for something else.

This was great just to pop it in my sink. The only downfall is not all the water drains out right away

The overall concept is good. Easy to intall and the popup works well, but it clogs so easily. Just after a few hand washes, the soap scum alone will clog it to the point the water drains super slow. Basket needs to be not so fine mesh so soap scum can get thru and only trap debris. I am going to cut some bigger holes in it I think to see if it will still trap debis but not build up the soap scum in such a short time.

Fits great in our bathroom sink drain. the wire screen does exactly what it is supposed to do, works great.

Good idea but it catches too much (toothpaste spit) and thus requires frequent cleaning. Strainer needs wider holes. Water is slow to drain which can't be adjusted without unscrewing the top off. Cheaply made, no metal at all. I'm keeping it for now but I'll be looking for something better.

The draw back on this drain strainer is you will lose at least 50% of time it takes the water to drain. The pop-up will not rise high to let the water to drain. I end up raising to whole unit up with my hand to let the water drain. poor quality control. they could have raised the pop-up 1/4'' more to prevent this problem. CARL
