These things are awesome.Great battery life. Sturdy. Good price. Solid, bass-y sound that really can be surprisingly loud, more than I would have expected. Easy to link up, easy to use, it clips onto a shower curtain ring, a tree branch, a cabinet handle, anywhere.The only thing it isn't as great at is the sound quality of speech-only. It seems to struggle a little bit with higher pitches, while being strong on low and medium tones. This means sometimes for something like an audio book or podcast, you have to turn it up louder than you'd expect to get good voice clarity. I downloaded the app for adjusting the sound balance, and while it helps to switch it to "speech mode" it doesn't make a huge impact.I have only one other nitpick and I cannot say for sure if it is the fault of this speaker, or my phone. But when I have this linked to my phone, for some reason it will NOT play phone calls. So if you were hoping to answer a call and hear someone talking through the speaker, it won't. Or at least, not with my phone. Every other bluetooth speaker I have ever had does this.Don't let that deter you though. This is a great speaker and I bought a second one so that I could leave one at home and one in the car for all the times I found myself somewhere that I wanted a speaker.

This little thing is strong!! I love the color the easy to use and instructions, it came with 60% of energy so i put it to charge and see how long will hold. Easy to use, buttons are easy to see and use, worth so far the money. This is for the beach time and i do t have to worry where i left the speaker now it will be hanging in my beach bag.Update: I got this two days ago i was able to finally use it in a small party with 30 people from 7pm until 9pm and the batery die i did recharge it the day before until the next day not sure is this one is bad but the 12 hrs batery so far is not thrue i will give it a try ecen though said is 100% i will try in again tomorrow and see how long will last if not i will have to return it the bad thing is i dont have the box that it came on so i hope was a problem of one day.

No complaints. Originally bought an Anker because of the better price and the decent reviews saying it stood the test against JBL etc. Used it for five seconds and immediately started my return. JBL is by far superior. Amazing bass sound, especially when laying flat on a surface that it can take advantage of for reverberation. Crystal clear sound and flawless Bluetooth connection. Takes longer to charge than I would like, but it also lasts a long time. Included charging cable is a bit short, though. I would say it has all the basic functions you need in a BT speaker, including the ability to pair it with others for stereo sound. Fantastic volume capability too: very powerful output. 10/10 will be buying again.

Wanted to purchase a portable blue tooth speaker for my travels that was small but packed a punch on sound. JBL has a well known reputation for sound but so does Bose. I chose this speaker because of the lower price compared to Bose of similar size. So far - glad I did. Used one day at home before leaving this review. I will be bringing on my trip next week. I’m hoping this speaker will last a long time. I have 2 medium size generic brands (purchased from Amazon) that are really too big for my traveling and have lasted a long time. This JBL speaker is half the size (fits in palm of my hand) that good quality sound.

Great speaker, definitely worth the price since i got it for 50$ at the time, but whatever price it'll be i say its worth it, i mean i got it the day i wrote this but i kinda already might get another soon, buttons are fine not much to say there, this speaker has its own jbl app, connection is fine, only thing that was difficult was picking a color since ive never been a fan of purple but i love this shade this speaker has, itll be great overall with care and im sure anyone would enjoy this speaker but to each their own.(Dont mind my deskmat)

You literally cannot beat the sound quality and clarity of a Bluetooth speaker in this size range with this level of portability. Each year JBL tops itself in terms of performance and straight up loudness, this year is no different with the JBL Clip 5 beating it’s predecessor in every dimension. The clip is much stronger on this model and the battery life is also greatly improved. The ability to sync up with other speakers with the same model means that rolling with friends means sharing the tunes and amping up the volume of the party. The only negative that I can really call out is that its sync technology is incompatible with other models of the same generation. They’ve thankfully fixed that in the next models but this is still a solid speaker with excellent sound and value for its size!
