Unique toy that challenges kids
Saw this first time at a kids science museum & both my 6 year old grandchild and I were fascinated. Turns out they feature these at the grade school science night as well, so it was not new to her. She loves it. A bit pricey, but it’s the favorite birthday gift this year.

Most age suitable
This is a good product I used for my class and they enjoyed it. I would recommend this for introducing coding to kids. I will have to see how durable it is as it has only been on use for 1 week with 1 class.

Pricey and limited fun but good for learning
This was fun for my daughter to explore, but after playing with it a couple of times, she isn't interested in getting it out anymore. I think it's a great tool to introduce the concept of coding, and perfect to use for lessons for homeschool or in preschool or kindergarten classrooms, and it could be fun for a kid who already likes this stuff, but if your kid is more interested in playdough and dolls and makeup than electronics like mine is, it may not be a hit for long. For the price, I'd only buy this for a kid that has demonstrated interest in coding or for an educational setting.

Nice Coding Introduction
My sons (ages 8 & 5) have been enjoying working with the Code & Go Robot Mouse Set by Learning Resources. It's part of the 5 year old's homeschool week, and it seems to be a hit! I love how they can see how the simple coding directions play out. I also appreciate that the mouse is rechargeable. I would recommend the set!

Cool learning and so much fun!
This was a gift for my almost-4-year-old granddaughter. I wasn’t sure if it would capture her interest or be an effective teaching toy. Boy, was I wrong. She was captivated and caught onto the concept very quickly. But far from being bored once she understood it, she played with it happily and extended each of the card challenges by asking “what if” and then figuring it out via trial and error. The concept is simple. You have a mouse with buttons for forward, left, right, and backward, plus clear and go. You have a piece of cheese and a flat platform that you can add walls and tunnels to. You teach the mouse how to navigate to the cheese by telling it how many squares to move forward, left, right, or backward, then press the Go button to have it make the moves. It’s pretty much infinitely reconfigurable to build mazes in varying degrees of complexity, which teaches the basics of programming, problem-solving, and navigation logic. All while having a ton of fun. Even her little brother (15 months) was enjoying it and clapping every time the mouse found the cheese and made a cute little “success” sound.I’m impressed by the quality and thought that went into this product, as well as how effective it is at teaching with fun. Definitely worth the price and then some!
