I ordered these not just because my 2013 former salvage car has so many scratches to cover, but I just really like anything iridescent. (I saved the carbon fiber set for my son's black car where at least the lumps from my poor application don't show much.) Rewatching the installation video, at least I see that theirs weren't perfect either. I'd even used alcohol wipes on the doors like I usually do before adhering any kind of sticker. Regardless, I've had to re-adhere the edges a few times since installation, especially on the door handles. As much as I needed the door bowl protectors, I'd have been happier with this set if it were just 8 of the handle style.

I started to notice that my car's door handle areas were getting scratched up by me holding my keys and my wife's nails lately so this was a no brainer to pick up and apply to my car. It is nice how it comes with both the cup protector and handle protector since it covers you from both your fingers scratching your car and the odd well placed smack from a neighboring car. I have some scratches to prove that it does happen so this should help marginally.I have not used the rainbow/pearlescent set yet, but I plan on using them on my wifes car. Something to note is that the adhesive used on these is very "gummy" but I have not seen it peel off even in 100+ degree heat in the summer so I wouldnt worry about it unless you plan on removing it. Even then, I'd fully expect the residue to come off with some goo gone.
