While this drawing board is overall decent for what it is, the finger joints holding the lower frame just... come apart. One corner was separated in shipping and they all just didn't seem like they wanted to hold together in general. Inexplicably, the small rubber feet on the bottom are actually secured by small screws which could very easily have been run through the corners to assure these joints stay put. a little glue even??I just ran some screws into it myself and it's fine now but definitely an oversight in design, or someone just forgot the glue.

Nice easel, as expected. the edges are a bit rough, and the surface as a few minor flaws, but it is nice solid wood construction with a fairly smooth surface, and provides good use as a desktop easel.
