Works and seems sturdy. Meant for Class II electrical equipment DO NOT USE WITH HEAVY EQUIPMENT
GM products have generally been slightly expensive but offer better build quality compared to extremely cheaper alternatives available in local markets.# Like others mentioned the surge protection is provided by addition of a capacitor which is an easy engineering solution to provide surge protection and is used by many other products.# I am using this with my Huion tablet which came with a euro style plug, a real nuisance.# Even though it has three sockets I would maybe use two at most just to reduce the risk of failure in case something bad happens since it doesn't have a third pin.Even though I bought it from Amazon I suggest checking your local shops for better prices and immediate delivery I was forced to buy this from Amazon because of lock downs.
