very clear instructions
The media could not be loaded. MatataStudio Pro Set Coding Robot for Kids Ages 4+ Programmable Robot Toy Set for Entry-Level Physical Programming STEM Educational Learning Toy DIY-Building Blocks Electronic Robot for Coding GameThis is a fun product aimed at younger children. My daughter and I felt that it was really nicely packaged and presented although it was more about how to follow pre existing coding rather than learning to actually code from scratch. However it could be a really great way to introduce children into the world of coding and computers. The robot is really cute and we love the added feature of being able to swap out the little figures with Lego characters. This feature is also possible on the smaller moving robot, though dome was a little more tricky to open up. The booklets were really clear and easy to follow. We wished there was a booklet for the drawing element as that was a bit harder to figure out and we also were not quite so sure what way we needed to face the robot at the start. It would have been useful to include some suitable practice paper, preferably something a little thicker than that used on a photocopier) as the pen did leak a little through the printer paper we tested it on.It would be great if you could link the robot to a coding app. so you could create more complex codes for the robot to follow once you've outgrown the coding kit provided. The robot is so cute and its fun watching it follow the codes you create on the board provided. It would also increase the longevity of the toys usability this way. It came pre charged which meant we could play with it straight away.

Cant wait for more modules
I’ve always wanted a centrifuge but the ones i had been looking at were wither toys or way to big for my man den. This is a great compromise between the two. As i wont be doing many samples at the same time, this is ideal. Its been going once a week for the last few months without any issues. Well worth the money.

Good Fun
This coding set is a good quality product. Built quality seems good as well. This set is good for the kids aged between 4 and 10. They can learn coding from scratch. This is good for the problem solving skills. Playing with physical blocks makes basic coding concepts easier for children to understand and memorize. Its very easy to play just follow the instruction provided in this package. This is good fun for the kids as well as learning. I am very pleased with purchase because my little one always plays with it.

Great intro to Programming
The way things have advanced over the last few years mean that there are now more fun and interactive ways to learn. This is one of them. Something that is fun, interactive and physical, yet still required you to use your brain muscles to be able to do it.The set comes with a large robot tower that sits on the command mat. This tower is what sends the commands to the mini robot. There is a box which has mini board cards that you place on the command mat to give instructions to the robot. Both the command tower and robot are charged using USB C.There is a map of different places which is used as part of the challenge. There are various challenge booklets of varying difficulty starting from very easy commands to more complex ones to ease your child into learning. This is a great learning aid to get your child into programming in a fun manner.

A little boring.
I did enjoy the concept of this coding robot and the way it works. I will say that the output is pretty fun. But when you strip it down and look at the cost. It's a lot of fuss for very little outcome and an app could teach you this in a couple of levels. So for a learning point of view this is more of an inspiration type of tool than a learning tool in my opinion. With that you'd probably think the child would get bored of this quite quickly. Even watching the robot is slow. Children these days are more accustomed to fast, instant gratification. With some children this will be amazing. It will inspire them to maybe go further. But for a price in the region of £150. This could be something that might only be used once.I'd say it's a risk. But this could be a great thing for a museum or a classroom.

Excellent edutainment
It's a much more advanced version of the classic "turtle" robot that you may have seen in the 90s.It's pretty easy to understand, I am technical but wouldn't think you need much of a background in it.I've used similar things before, the fact that it's embodied and physical really helps with kids, it's hard to make them care about code on a screen such as Scratch.I work in software and this is a pretty good way of teaching young kids how to think logically.Overall, really happy, my neice has been enjoying it.

Fun and educational
Engaging and educational, this set is perfect for young children exploring coding concepts. The physical interaction with the blocks makes abstract ideas much easier to grasp. I’ve seen kids quickly pick up sequencing and problem-solving skills. What stands out is how screen-free the experience is, allowing for hands-on learning without any distractions. The combination of fun and education makes it a top choice for any parent or teacher looking to introduce coding.
