Spike Seasoning Gaylord Hauser 3 oz Salt

Spike is a great seasoning for salads and vegetables, and not so easy to come by in the UK. Happy to have a good source.

This came in the time allowed.I read the reviews on it and thought I would give it a try for a change.I have only seasoned chicken with it so far, and the family enjoyed the flavour. It is not over powering and not spicy as in hot. Quite a subtle combination of herbs and salt, can taste celery in it, so if not a fan don't buy it.It can be used in it's raw form (not cooked), on veg/eggs, as a seasoning like salt. I tried it this way but did not like it like that.

The best thing about this is you don't have to fiddle around measuring out 20 different spices. One tsp. of this does it all. And, you can use it on so many things; the possibilities are endless.

Addictive - can’t live without a little Spike in my life now. Adds something so tasty to salads and veggies.

Love Love Love Spike- I used it a lot instead of salt when I lived in America, adds a really lovely flavour to cooked foods, especially making home made hashbrowns. Was really happy to see it here, but just marking it down one star due to the price I have to pay for a small jar- £5.99

Egad, the salt! Spike didn't used to be this salty! I've been living overseas and haven't had it in years. I finally decided to splurge and buy some. Upon tasting just a tiny bit, I almost gagged from the saltiness. Insane! I love the flavour of Spike, and have missed it for a long time. I used to love it in my scrambled eggs. I don't think I'll be able to eat this, however. SOOOO disappointing! I can add my own salt, thank you very much, Gaylord Hauser.

This stuff will change your life! Put it on everything!! Cheese sandwich.... sprinkle on Spike. Made a salad..... add Spike, Any meat or fish. Stir fry, Risotto, stew or soup. Just keep it in a holster and take it everywhere with you. Your food will never taste so good again!! :))
