Nephew loved it
Ordered this new version and gave it to my nephew as a gift. He loved it and said he’s been wanting one for a while! I was surprised by how high quality the binder and content is.

So much fun!
My daughter is 7 so she definitely needs help working on this kit but she's enjoying it immensely. The instructions are clear and easy for my husband to follow with her. They take turns drawing out different components in the different colors so it's been a great way for them to spend time together. The games they've made are fun and really impressive given the simplicity of what they're actually doing.

Fun for kids
As a parent of a 7-year-old boy, finding the right blend of creativity and fun in a toy can be a challenge. However, Pixicade has been a delightful surprise! This innovative game allows kids to transform their doodles and drawings into playable video games, and it has quickly become a favorite in our household. From the moment we opened the box, my son was captivated. The included washable markers and 100+ page interactive booklet sparked his imagination and encouraged him to dive right in. No prior drawing experience is necessary, which is fantastic because it means every child can enjoy it, regardless of their artistic skills. Whether he’s sketching a simple wheel or an elaborate knight battling a dragon, each creation becomes a unique gaming experience. What I love most about Pixicade is how it combines screen time with creativity. Instead of just consuming content, my son is actively engaged in creating his own games. It’s an excellent way for him to develop problem-solving skills while having a blast. The app is surprisingly easy to use; he simply takes a picture of his drawing, and voilà—his game comes to life on our tablet! The range of game types available is impressive. He can create platformers, slingshot games, mazes, and even head-to-head combat games with friends. This variety keeps him entertained and constantly challenges him to think outside the box. Plus, the option to play games made by other users adds a social element that he really enjoys. It has kept my son entertained for hours, and I love seeing his excitement as he shares his creations with family and friends. If you're looking for a gift that inspires imagination and creativity while providing a unique gaming experience, I highly recommend Pixicade!

This is really fun! It comes neatly packaged with really great instructions and practice activities. This is perfect for your creative types. The app is great too and you can edit your pages digitally after uploading to the app so there's always room for mistakes or changing your mind. Absolutely love this!

Abacus Brands Pixicade
I got this for my ten year old because he loves to be on the tablets and I thought this would be a good way for him to do something a bit more tactile. This was easy to install on my iPad but it had some trouble on my off brand android based Walmart tablet that I have gotten my kiddo. So we’ve mainly used it with my iPad and it has worked really well. It is such a great idea! My kiddo loves video games and if yours does too, then this is great to mix creativity with video games. You really can create your own games and play them on the tablet.
