This thing was at a great price point! But, that being said, don't expect the world of it. I still use mine, only becuase I have no where else to put my plastics, but the capacity is small. I imagine there is probably a better product out there that could do the job better, but I'm sure that would come at a cost. Only real problem is that the hard plastic cases of creature baits won't fit well. BUt, the velcro strap on the bottom gives a little extra room so Im able to at least keep them together.

This is the second Berkley Bait Holder I've bought. The first one is over twenty years old and doing good. I bought a few extra bags when I saw the because you can just keep packing them into the ring and it is still an organized Space Saver. The first one was bought for baits. The second one was purchased for inshore and offshore terminal tackle, (like swivels, hooks, crimps, snap swivels, etc...) it used very little room in my tackle box and I can flip through all my tackle and open up my bag of choice without tackle up a whole 3600 or 3700 tackle tray. The bags are see through so I can see into the little bags I purchased the swivels in and they stay marked with their size/lb. test.

I went from one x-large ziplock bag which I had full of several smaller ziplock bags of plastic baits, to this binder. Wow, this is a much better use of space! I am so much more organized thanks to this binder! Great value, dont hesitate to buy.

Basic and economical storage solution for soft baits. Be carefull of recommended buy with options, I bought both recommended bag options. 1 was exact as those that come with binder, other was wider which is nice BUT the holes are wider and it is harder to put them in and to must be crunched to fit. Wanted longer ones to have room for long plastics, will have to see how it works one loaded.

I bought this bait notebook, along with an extra 5-pack of the size 1170 bags, to store my collection of fixed circular knitting needles. Anyone who's ever looked at a tangled mess of knitting needles in their basket and wept softly can appreciate how pleasant it is to have them all contained neatly and organized by size. The plastic baggies will be the weak point in the whole thing--I can see how especially the smaller needles could poke through if I'm not careful. That being said, they're easily repaired or replaced, and if I take reasonable care when putting the needles in and taking them out, they should hold up pretty nicely.The versions of this that I've seen specifically for knitting needles always look fiddlier and more expensive, so here's to going the utilitarian route.
