Q: Why won’t my fan buttons turn fan on but it doesn’t shut off after the set time. the led light turns off after the set time but the fan keeps running.

I also had this problem when I switched to Mode 2 (hold 5 & 10 minute buttons down, so LEDs stay on until the time runs out). Switching back to Mode 1 seemed to fix it. Did you ever resolve it?

I installed 2 of them, and work properly, be sure connections are right if not it may be defective.
