I got these for makeup - not for application, per se, but for carving out a crease. They allow for precision, which is just what I needed. They don’t have a lot of cotton on them, so I wouldn’t expect them to be soft enough to do a whole eyeshadow look, but they are great for what I bought them for and can also be used for highlighting near the tear ducts. They’re also useful for removing eye boogers or drying watery eyes without ruining my makeup.

The pointed tip on these makes them great for cleaning up makeup with micellar water. They are very sturdy and the cotton stays put rather than pulling apart like some other cotton swabs.

There’s a large choice of these to shop for, so I relied quite a bit on the photos & reviews. I wanted a tightly wound tip that wouldn’t fall apart when dipped in alcohol or acetone & I didn’t need a container for them.These are perfect! I highly recommend.

I hoped these pointed cotton swabs from Pangda would be dense enough to hold their shape when cleaning small crevices, and I was not disappointed. These swabs are 3 1/8 inches (8cm) long with cotton tips that are 1/2 inch (13mm) long. The sticks are only slightly flexible and made of recycled paper. Most of the cotton tips are stiff, too stiff for using on the inner corner of your eye, for example. The cotton is tightly wound and does not become mushy when dipped in cleaning fluid or water. They absorb enough to do the job but remain stiff enough to clean with. These can be used to correct eye makeup or for other cosmetic applications, but I prefer Japanese thin cotton buds for that. The stiffness of these pointed swabs makes them excellent for cleaning. There is an occasional tip that is too soft for my purposes, but most are stiff. The swabs come in two packages of 200 each inside of a larger zipper bag.

These are amazing for cleaning and detailing most anything that has small crevices and nooks and crannies. They are sturdy and the pointed tip makes them versatile without leaving behind a bunch of lint.

Swabs were perfect, tips tight and non-shedding, firm enough to clean stray nailpolish, yet soft enough to touch up smudged eyeline. Great!
