Magnetic Mic

Works great! The magnet is strong and the mount was so easy to install. I have really loved this product as it makes it so much easier for me to use my mic.

Worked out very well and easy to install. I installed it on a cobra radio. I was a little worried that my mic would come off the dash of my side-by-side when I was offering, but it didn’t.

Good quality mic holder, magnet is strong and holds mic no problem. Price is on the higher side but for a made in the USA item worth it.

A perfect solution for my microphone mount! Easy to install and all hardware is included! It took me longer to find a battery for my drill than it took to install. It was a little more expensive than I wanted to spend for a company truck, but worth it in the end.

I have two of these, mounted in two different vehicles. In both vehicles, my Mic(s) are mounted in a hard to reach place. Having the Magnet Mount makes it easy to place the Mic without having to fit it exactly into the “clip”. Just get the Mic close to the mount and the magnet does the rest.My first mount is used with a slightly larger than normal Mic. That one works great.My second mount is used with an “all in one” Mic. (All of the controls are on the Mic.) It is much larger and heavier than a standard CB Mic. Even with the added weight and size, this Magnetic Mount works great.

In short, good product. Easy.The long version: I have installed many cb radios in my vehicles and I hate when the time comes to sell the vehicle- due to holes I've drilled.I have a B3000/ Ford Ranger, and I have two cigarette lighter ports. I thought I'd buy this, remove the cigarette lighter and then secure the magnet from the inside of the bezel.. Thats a fairly invasive option, so maybe not the best route.What about only using the metal catch?!I bought plastic cigarette lighter dust cap plugs. I cut off the face of the dust cap so the mic holder sits at a good spot when placed. To secure the metal portion of the mic holder: I just used a hex screw, a vice to bend a wing nut, and I grinded off one of the wings. Done. For an extra bit of security, I unplugged the lighter socket power, just in case.This is expensive considering what I used it for, however I am very pleased with the outcome.

I have been a cop for a long time and I have had lost control of a mic before and had to play hide and seek with it. The Magnetic Mic is truly the answer. Some of our patrol vehicles have had these installed... and you get spoiled until you get another unit or get your old car back without this. The quality is unbeatable! I am NOT a DIY guy... I wish I was, My wife wishes I was... but alas, no. That is NOT me. However, if you have a standard mic mount, it takes less than 5 minutes to replace. If you need to drill, it may take 10 minutes for you to do it right... The point is: IT IS DEFINATELY WORTH IT!!! AND just like Waterboy: "YOU CAN DO IT!!"
