It wasn't cheap, but this is a large, sturdy and well-contructed bin that meets all my family's needs. For a bin, it's also beautifully designed and easy on the eye, effortlessly blending in with my kitchen and it's surrounding.Once you've inserted the 3 'C' batteries inside the cover, you only have to activate the lid opening, by pressing a button, or better still use the 'Motion Detection' facility. This ensures you always maintain hygiene and never have to touch the bin itself when you throw rubbish away.I use the large black binliner bags from Costco and the 80 litre capacity ensures that I only need to change the bags once a week (when the rubbish goes).The bin is also easy to clean with a damp cloth or some baby wipes.

It’s legit folks. It’s become my new toy, I actually can’t go back to other ‘unsmart’ bins. Conjecture on my part hands up, wasn’t aware of the batteries I needed as I thought you could charge it via usb. You need 3 large batteries for this to work. So it doesn’t work straight out the box. But nonetheless I’m very happy with the purchase. When people do good, I think it should be acknowledged 👍

This is our third automatic bin. The first one lasted for ages and was great but has been discontinued. The second one was useless - the sensor was on the front of the bin so it opened whenever anyone (or the dog) walked past. This bin has the sensor on the top of the bin at the front (where it should be) so it doesn't open unless you actually go to put something in it. It looks good, it's easy to empty and the batteries last a long time. There isn't a lot of choice if you want an automatic bin that is this size.

The media could not be loaded. The quality and build are excellent, and the 80L capacity is vast for a family of 4 and it works well. The sensor is receptive and a simple wave or placing an object near by opens the lid and then it auto closes. There are 2 buttons for when you want the lid to remain open or closed for a longer period of time. Great bin!

Brilliant bin. Holds much more than I had anticipated. Fits under the unit but lid hit underside. A wee bit annoying but still work for us as opening is sufficient.

Absolutely perfect size bin for our Recycling bags, so easy to change the bags, the lid closure can be overridden with a press of a button so the lid can stay open if you are tearing up paper or cardboard for recycling which is very handy.

A great bin when working. Although product comes with a 12 warranty. NETTA do not allow you to return the lid. Instead they insist on you removing the sensor and sending it back for repair. I tried and failed. £125 for a bin that lasts six months. Very poor customer service. Do not recommend.
