My sister ended up in Hospice at my home. This was a life saver. We are older and trying to turn or pull someone up in bed who couldn’t help was next to impossible. This made it easy. It did not cause her to sweat and the material easily went over sheets when pulling her up in bed. It had 4 handles on each side so it made turning her easily also. Easy to clean. I wish Hospice had it because it makes such a difference for caregiver and patient.

My wife sleeps on a waterproof mattress pad. The positioning pad, placed under the protective mattress pad, makes it much easier for her caregivers to reposition her in bed. It is advertised as washable: however, the first time we put it through the wash, the reinforcing straps shrank noticeably, reducing the overall size of the pad. It is still useful, but buyers should be cautious about laundering it.

I care for my elderly Mother who is now bed ridden... It's hard for her to turn over. I got this need past with the handles so I could move her around in the bed alone... The pad slides very easily over the sheet and it handles are positioned in such a way that I'm able too roll her from side to side and pull her up towards the head of the bed with ease and very little discomfort for my Mother.It is machine washable but I haven't had to wash it yet... It is not waterproof so any liquid spilled on the pad will sleep through... handles are reinforced and strong I pull and yank them several times a day and they are still holding strong. My Mother is 5'7" tall, 9i lbs and the pad reaches from her shoulders to just below the bend of her knees. I recommend this pad for anyone who is caring for someone without assistance.

I purchased this after using one similar with my mom while she was in the hospital. It makes it much easier to move a family member around in a bed, especially when they are not able to assist. It is made of a material that is easy to wipe off or can be tossed in washer and dryer. The material is very durable along with the handles.

I purchased this for my husband who was recovering from a broken pelvis. This made moving him in bed so much easier. It is a great quality item, in fact it's the same one our local paramedics use for moving patients in certain situations. It does not stretch, nor is it supposed to. Outstanding item and very helpful for moving a recumbent patient.

I purchased these bed pads in August. I'd previously purchased the smaler pads and was very satisfied with them. These large pads are better in that they have handles and are longer.However, and oddly, one of the two I purchased shrank dramatically when washed. I wash and air dry both pads the same, so I have no idea what the issue is. But, the problem does seem to be with the webbing. It is still useable but, for the price, it seems the product durability and consistency should be better.
