The best home internet upgrade you can buy...and it is not expensive
This router was recommended by my ISP to improve performance as I was having frequent slow downs and connection drops so went ahead and bought this. It arrived within 24 hours in a shiny new box with the packing wrapper still sealed. Set up was easy, had to log in into the tplinkwifi.net interface, set a new password and do a quick set up to update connection details. The setup even offers to automatically clone the MAC address of the existing wi-fi router which is a nice quality of life feature. Both 2.4 and 5 GHz bands are supported and are listed as separate SSIDs, although a smart option allows a single SSID to be used for both bands. The difference in performance between my previous cheap tplink router and this product is like night and day. The connection strength and speed have improved dramatically, with anything between 70-95% of promised bandwidth from ISP (100Mbps/12MBPS) on 5GHz band. At 2300 INR (27 USD) this product is excellent value for money. Can't recommend it enough. Easily the best value for money upgrade for internet connectivity.

Worth the price
I bought this because the router supplied by my local ISP is beyond garbage. I've connected this to their router and am using this as my primary WiFi and LAN device, and it works like a charm.+ great signal strength across my flat. Even on 5GHz, which has limited range, I only lose up to 1 bar on my macbook pro sitting a few rooms away with walls inbetween. 2.4GHz has zero issues. I've also run wifi signal analyzers on my phone and this beats out all the noise from my neighbors' wifi signals.+ Fast, and negates the need for LAN connections. I can easily cap out my 250mbps connection over 5GHz wifi using my macbook pro, which allows me to access my NAS and home desktop from anywhere in the house at superfast speeds. This was the main reason I got it and I couldn't be more satisfied.+ Easy setup and configuration. I like hardware that lets you mess around with every setting and the included UI is a breeze to use and also surprisingly configurable. This is an ideal router for a power user, gamer, or someone in a decently sized living space. It offers a lot of speed for LAN/WLAN operations and is very easy to set up, even for a beginner. Just note that your internet connection actually needs to be fast to make full use of this device, because the rated 867mbps speed can only be capped out if you have gigabit internet, which even I don't.

Excellent product
I have been using this router for a few weeks now, and it has exceeded my expectations. The setup was incredibly easy, taking less than 10 minutes to get everything running. The signal strength is fantastic, providing seamless coverage throughout my home, even in areas where my old router struggled. I’ve noticed a significant improvement in both speed and stability, with no dropped connections during streaming or gaming. The user interface is intuitive, allowing me to easily manage connected devices and set up guest networks. Overall, this router has greatly improved my internet experience, and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for reliable, fast, and easy-to-use networking hardware.

Best for home
Best for home wifi for office as well as home entertainment.Bought it in oct 2023. It's able to connect to multiple devices and distributes proper bandwidth for each. The range covered in home across rooms is pretty decent.

Use it only as Primary router or immediate router next to your ISP's router
Pros :1. All features as expected , this model have two versions on TP link website , i have received v3 as part of delivery.1. Speed on duel band as expected.2. Easy to setup and in v3 version LEDs are placed in such a way that they dont interfare with view.Cons:This can not be used in big netwrok setup , let me explain1. I have my primary router by my ISP(airtel) which is duel bank Nokia router and I am extending the wifi courage using LAN port of that router i.e usin it as secondary router, so when my setup is Primary Nokia router---->LAN output conection----> TP link archer A6 , then all works fine , whenpower goes on primary or there is some issue with ISP side , then as soon as power comes or connectivity is back , then this TP link router also comes online without any issue. But if i use it as thirst router , so setup is : Primary Nokia router----->LAN connection--->Another TP link router or SWITCH------> LAN output from switch/second router----> TP link archer A6 ,In above setup , this works well when you setup , but if power goes or there is even short time outage from ISP and when power comes back , then this router never comes online .I always have to reboot it to get it online , though IP address , subnet etc are all fine and shows as expected.Firmwaye is already latest. This issue is in both router & accep point mode , I also tried manually assining IP within subnet range but that also doest help , and as soon as power goes or primary / secondary router is down for a second , this one never comes back without reboot. Thus If you have a huge setup or multi floor house or many other routers , this can only be used as primary or just imidiate secondary to ISP provided router , otherwise you will have to restart it every now and then.
